NY deserves the Clinton legacy. They ban smoking, raise taxes and do everything that makes the socialist left proud. NY will be the next basket case, just like California.

have you ever noticed that not one of Dubya's friends has blown his brains out yet? By this time in the former Admin many FOB's were ALREADY dead! But the Dems would say thats cuz Dubya has so few friends....
To: Paul Atreides
That's why Hilliary! will never be president. The toons will continue to waer out their welcome politically speaking until there's nowhere for them to go. It's all downhill from here. Unless, of course, the DNC grows a pair. But that'll never happen.

Californians are breathing a sigh of relief. He'd win in California if he ran in this fall's recall election. The DemocRATS in California deserve him, but I would feel sorry for everyone else except the Greens.

I predict Clinton will LOSE to Spitzer!!
To: Republicus2001
This is obvious - with Bloomberg raising taxes already in NYC, that leaves only the state for Sick Willy to raise taxes for, having already raised federal taxes back when he was pretending to be president.
To: Clara Lou
All I can say is this: If NY elects him, NY deserves him. I simply cannot believe that any state would first Hillary itself, and then Bill itself. Masochistic.Thank gosh for electoral votes to save the rest of the country from the idiots on the East/West Coasts.

There's some lean, mean and tough political Republicans in this state. You're kidding, right?
Name a few, besides Pataki and Giuliani, who could beat Bubba, Hitlery or Schuckie in a race for any office!

Someone on Fox, I can't remember whom, said something that I have never thought of before: that Ted Kennedy is not as well-liked across the country as the media would have us think. This person said "How many people have Ted Kennedy campaign for them?".
To: Paul Atreides
Good one..
"Only, Bubba's pic should say "Let's Jiggle."
as Jiggle is popular euphamism for sex in Brazil

sighI shall begin TONIGHT praying for New York. Although all it would really take is one lightning bolt, strategically aimed...

Is there a whole group of men who run for office just to get the women? Is that really the secret? There's a few that do, but it's power more than anything else. Some women are attacted to power. Politicians are viewed as rich as well(whether they are or not). That means easy opprotunities for politicians.
Certain types who run only for the power or glory are going to have no problems taking advantage of those situations.

I can believe that. I suspect that's why, the media thing, certain senators (Snow, McCain, Dorgan et al) are having a cow about the new FCC ruling, and want to try to overturn it. Heaven forfend the peasants find out the emperor's got no clothes on...

That's very true. And that applies to other circles, too. Anytime there is any fame (or hint of money, whether it's true or not), there are people looking to take advantage of the situation.
