Like you, I was concerned about Edwards at first and then started paying attention to him! No way could he win!

Same here. He is definitely one of those candidates who has this initial appeal..but the closer you look, the less likable he is.

I really don't think the Dems have a candidate who comes close to George Bush. They all look like losers to me.

Unless something goes drastically wrong for GW..like maybe the economy tanks...I believe he will win a second term.

Does anyone think the WMD issue will last for weeks or even months as a negative for Pres. Bush, or is it just the latest talking points? It's worrisome that P.M. Blair is also being attacked & investigated about it. Hopefully they'll soon find something substantial in Iraq and it will become just a memory like all the rest of their planned attacks. I saw David Corn on Hannity & Colmes tonight and he brought up the "Bush AWOL from the Guard" lie and Ann Lewis jumped right in, not a word from Hannity as usual. We will hear plenty of that over the next 18 months, esp. if Kerry is the nominee. Why doesn't someone just come out and refute it with facts? Or have they?

Sen. Bob Graham was a late entry but he has now pulled even with Carol Moseley Braun. See what money will do for a candidate? :-)

Oh, please, please, let Johnny Boy keep focused on the presidential race. That way, Foreskin Bowels and Danny Blue are waiting...and waiting [in the wings while Blow Dry Johnny decides]....I want Burr to win his Senate seat.

Graham's too busy writing notes in his little diary--he's got gravitas.

These same Democrats who are attacking Bush never disputed the intelligence reports on WMDs before..and in fact most of them encouraged Clinton to take action against Saddam for his WMDs.

They never disputed the UN Security Council which claimed there were tons of bio and chemical weapons unaccounted for..they all voted to give Bush the authority to disarm Saddam.

They even warned of the dire consequences of Saddam using his WMDs against us.

Now they are pretending they never existed and Bush lied. These people are such transparent hypocrites..they only make themselves look bad.

Unfortunately Europe is so full of liberal flakes who are totally out of touch with reality...if we don't find the WMDs..it could hurt Blair politically.

I saw Edwards on Tim Russert about six months ago. Russert just took him apart. Edwards was contradicting himself within 2-3 sentences and just burying himself deeper with every utterance.

Before that interview, I was worried about another Southern Schlickmeister. Now, however, I hope he ends up being the nominee (not gonna happen). I would just love to see him fall apart under pressure during presidential debates.

I was suprised that a trial lawyer could look that inept. I guess he is not used to being on the receiving end of hard questions

With this bunch of uninspired second stringers the Dems should running FDR. Yes, he is quite dead, but that hasn't been a problem for them in the past. Hillary can run as his VP and fill in after he is elected. (sarcasm - I hope?)

Florida freeper here. My best guess is that Graham doesn't want to be in the Senate (bc he'd likely be in the minority) anymore. He's getting old. I think he wants VP and seeing as Edwards basically adds all of nothing to the ticket, I'd say there's a fair chance Graham is the VP nominee. If he doesn't get VP (forget about Pres) than I think he'll be lobbied VERY hard to stay in the Senate, but who knows.
