I arrived at the Pentagon City Costco at about 5:20 PM. I pulled out my trusty Costco card and proceeded inside to case the joint. Right in the door were the Sheeple getting their yellow tickets to see the Frog Princess. Right in the door was fictional copies of the serial projectile launcher's book. I went over and had a frosty drink from the Costco cheap food stand. About 6:00 PM I walked out to meet the first Freepers (Anglewood and tgslTakoma). We pulled our usual game by setting up close.....

We pulled our usual game by setting up close to the front door. Jimmy Valentine's brother showed up and John of Costco came out to tell us to move. As I pulled out my Costco card, he said I still have to as you to move. I asked on what grounds? He said I could refuse a member if it impedes sells. I ask how are we impeding sales? He said that he was getting complaints. We said SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. We moved to the grassy knoll at the front entrance of the parking lot and proceeded to educate the masses. We had our usual fun with the same disbelief wondering how can so many people be so stupid?
I had to run at 8:00 PM and I had a dead battery on the BMW. Many thanks to the guys who helped me get started. I will let them chime in for further info. Sorry so late, yesterday was not in sync for me. I think my Fung Sway was FUBAR.

I had to run at 8:00 PM and I had a dead battery... Man, and you missed Taxman complaining about too many beans in his Chimichunga...
Anyway, it was good seeing you and thanks for the organizing efforts! After you left, I stood by the exit and handed out "Be a Good Liberal" flyers to people who said they'd bought the book. One leftist crumpled it up and threw it out the window of his SUV. A Littering Liberal?!? I can hardly believe it.(/sarcasm)

Would that the trend would continue with just those results, declining at an equal rate each week. it would end up like this...
438,701 - 1st week (2nd Week of June)
168,676 - 2nd week (3rd Week of June)
64,096 - 3rd week (4th Week of June)
24,356 - 4th week (1st Week of July)
9,255 - 5th week (2nd Week of July)
3,517 - 6th week (3rd Week of July)
1,336 - 7th week (4th Week of July)
507 - 8th week (1st Week of August)
192 - 9th week (2nd Week of August)
73 - 10th week (3rd Week of August)
27 - 11th week (4th Week of August)
10 - 12th week (1st Week of September
-------------------
710,746 TOTAL with this trend
Not likely, but they have to be worried.

My bet is the drop off is even steeper than that. Do you think there is any "buzz" saying "hey read this" -- no way -- it's a borr-rr-rr-ing book. The buzz is going to say "what a waste". Only the liberal DU-types, pro-abortion fanatics, and other assorted true-believers are out there buying her crustiness's book -- and they already mobbed the counter -- there's no one left to buy it.
E$xcepting only collusionary bulk and faked sales.

I think my Fung Sway was FUBAR.I don't know about your FS but pushing that cycle around the parking lot just about wiped me out. tgslTakoma should have gotten a picture of that! I had to have two swimming pool size margrita's at Chevy's after all the exercise.
Even though the Warlord messed up and didn't relocate his troops so that we could wave to her evilness as she left by the dumpster exit, it was a successful freep. We generated single digit salutes and drive by "get a life" and "go homes." Costco employees came out and took our pictures. Several people stopped by to have their picture taken with us and hold signs. A nice lady from Arkansas stopped by to chat. We let her know that her Governor was a favorite of FreeRepublic. A nice young man stopped by with his copy of the Ann Coulter book and told us about the procedings in the Store, how the vile one was way in the back surrounded by boxes handing out "presigned books.
When we learned that the co x42 had developed cramps in her hand and wasn't really signing the books, our resident nurse, tgsl, made a sign recommending that putting ice on the hand would be helpful.
bmwcyle thanks for the cigar. For me a doubly rewarding evening.

Too many beans? The damn thing (a BEEF Chimichanga) had 6 lbs of beans and 3 ounces of beef! And 6 more lbs of beans on the side! For $10.50! If you like Chimichangas, do not, repeat, DO NOT eat at Chevys!
Not to mention the $8.75 Margarita! Good, but damn expensive.
(Oh, I complained to the manager, and he took the Chimichanga off our bill. That was a touch of class, and I may just go back, but not for Chimichangas!)
Glad you made it home, bmwcyle.
And thanks, guys for helping start bmwcyles' Beemer. Yo, Bmwcyle, do we need to take up a collection for a new battery? A new Beemer?
I enjoyed FReeping Hitlery! last night with all you intrepid DeeCee FReepers, despite the ugly Chimichanga and expensive tequilla!
It was yet another in our unbroken string of successful FReeps -- defined as being FReepers being flipped off at least once by some potty-minded LIEberal NAG! (Has to be a NAG -- guys flipping us off don't count.)

Tucker Carlson said that if Hillary's book sold a million copies he would eat his shoes and his tie. After the book sold over 400,000 the first week (Simon & Schuster was claiming 600,000), they had him on "Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me on NPR" and the cast was acting as if he was going to have to eat it for sure. I'm not so sure, sales are declining on a very steep curve.
Here's a WashPost column about Carlson's promise:

I'll post some pictures later tonight. I do have to tell you all that the
highlight of my evening had to be when the ratty-haired twenty-something female with a nose piercing and a lip piercing yelled out from a passing car that I was an idiot!
Yeah, like I really value her judgement of what's idiotic. She needs to imagine what her piercings will look like when she's 70 years old and reconsider which one of us is idiotic.

I just looked at the photos and they turned out great! I loved talking to the ladies from Arkansas -- the one who knew Juanita Broaddrick. She said she knew al about Bill Clinton....but NOT "that" way!
All of the COSTCO employees were polite and helpful, even when telling us we had to leave their property, except for one of the security guys. He was an older man who couldn't help from expressing his opinion when we came into his view: "Damned protesters! Oh Lordy, Lordy!" He was with two other employees. They didn't stick around long; just a quick look and then off to hunt for other cars to mark for towing.
