Marilyn Manson Has Fetus In A Jar
GQ Magazine.UK ^ | 07.31.03

Posted on 08/02/2003 9:33:26 PM PDT by Coleus

Marilyn Manson has a foetus in a jar on his coffee table. The unborn baby is preserved in formaldehyde and takes pride of place in the crazy rocker's living room. The eccentric singer's girlfriend, fetish artist Dita Von Teese, gave him the child as a gift. He said: "I have a beautiful morbid gift from Dita - it's an unborn child in a jar. I called it Ludwig Von Manson."

a lyric from one of his songs:

"Disposable Teens" has a line in it that goes something like, "I'm a teen distortion, survived abortion..."

Don't let your children listen to hard rock, rapper Eminem or watch MTV.

Considering all the lifelike replicas of various-stage fetuses (fetii?) available in most modern medical universities, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if this "fetus" is nothing more than a rubber replica as well.

As for Manson "poisoning" anyone's mind, that's just silly. Nobody succumbs to an evil way of life without full consent of the will. I've listened to Marilyn Manson's music (circa 1999) and found it to be no more outrageous than the stuff that David Bowie cranked out in the '60s and '70s.

Human skulls and whole skeletons were very easy to come by even before the Internet made buying oddities easy. I don't think it could be widely illegal.

Marilyn Manson Now Going Door-To-Door Trying To Shock People

OVERLAND PARK, KS—Stung by flagging album sales and Eminem's supplanting him as Middle America's worst nightmare, shock rocker Marilyn Manson has embarked on a door-to-door tour of suburbia in a desperate, last-ditch effort to shock and offend average Americans.

May he, an hour after his passing, be shown the bottle of formaldehyde that is his eternal resting place.

The eccentric singer's girlfriend, fetish artist Dita Von Teese,

This baby in a jar thing don't shock me as bad as Florence Henderson hitting up on him on Politically Incorrect one night.

"Are there not laws against possesing human remains?"

You would have to convince the courts that a human is in that jar, and not "unviable tissue mass" or "fetus". Good luck trying... a few million people in the country would be glad to see you pull it off.

BIG PING!!

Marilyn Manson is disgusting, and I believe a truly evil-possessed person. But he/she/it is hardly mainstream hard rock, let alone mainstream rock.

I saw Manson on an episode of Politically Incorrect a few years ago. One of the other guests was a member of the Dixie Chicks, and Manson made her look like an idiot. His whole persona is just an act; he actually seems to give pretty good interviews.

It's interesting that Marilyn Manson uses the phrase "unborn child."

Manson voted for Bush.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?!?

I detest people who tell me how to raise my children.

It is and he has taken this act all the way to the bank.

The worst that Manson can be accused of is ripping of Alice Cooper.

Everything he has ever done has been designed to sell records. When he takes of his makeup, he is Brian Warner, an intelligent, articulate businessman.

When I was in high school the science dept. had a couple in the storage area. You had to be a science geek to go back there though.
