Marilyn Manson ate my girlfriend

I'd dump her.

Well, that can't have been too hard to do, she normally doesn't need any help in looking like, or in fact just plain being, an idiot. :)

I don't know much about his politics, but occasionally closted conservatives, libertarians, and true moderates make it into the entertainment field. And let's be honest what is more iconoclastic and heretical in today's pop culture then being a conservative?

I became aware of Eminem when I saw a video in which he mocked Slick unmercifully. I think it was "My Name is Slim Shady" although I could be wrong since I'm not really a fan.

LOL! Is that what the song was about? I never saw the video but must have heard it on the radio dozens of times, but never paid attention to the lyrics.

I'll have to give it a closer look.

You're right he does have talent although he seems a few problems on the emotional side, as well.

That seems to be the rule rather than the exception regarding musicians in general. Maybe why, overall, the majority of the top musicians are messed up in other ways.

Plus I get sick of hearing people trash eminem who likely don't even listen to his music to know what he sings about.

And I'm just as sick of people apologising for the little bastard as you are of people trashing him.He may be a good writer and all,but to me he's just plain annoying.

I don't think you can tell from the lyrics. Here's a link

Also, this song isn't the "Real Slim Shady" which got a lot more airplay. That was a pretty funny video as well albeit no Clinton references.

I've shot before. I've shot a beretta and a glock. My friend tried teaching me the year I moved into my own apartment (before Frank). He was nervous that I would be living on my own and really wanted me to get a gun. I went quite a few times to a place called The Bullet Hole, a range in Belleville.

Needless to say, I was not a good student. Nervous as hell. Never got used to the kick from the fire. I hated every minute of it.

Appreciate the ping ... but my only thoughts are, 'Hope this freak and his female companion meet the Lord before they die, 'cause I feel they will be met by demonic forces if not.' There isn't likely to be anything redeemable about freaks like this. They've sold out to the satanic long ago in order to be popular and wealthy. So Faustian, but I doubt anyone will step up to fight for them when the debt comes due ...

I think so. I went to his homepage last night after I saw Coleus's post. I swear I had chills. No reason to go there...I was just concurring with you.

The longer I'm on this glorious orb, the more I see the pernicious workings of evil amongst US. And we of the West appear quite clueless at this late stage in the war we're losing in nearly imperceptable increments. A person who would make the slaughter of a little one the conversation piece for his coffee table is nothing more than lint in the belly button of history. Being forgotten with time will be his most noteworthy achievement. I wonder, does he keep a closet decorated with the cadavers from Dachau ... to be opened for ogling when his guests grow bored and need to flirt?

,,, he's in the same league as Michael Jackson only he knows which buttons to press to ensure mainstreamers don't buy what he's peddling.
