Could you give a LINK to the other thread then; so that I may give the 'author' his (her?) due?

(Will I have to pay royalties as well, or merely 'cease & desist'?)

Um..if the earth is so young, explain how the dinosaurs lived 65 million years ago????

Too bad there aren't more old earth creationists.

Stalking - harassment - disrupter --- YOU !

I'm trying to reach an agreement on an issue of fact (e.g. whether precambrian fossils do or do not exist).

If you see that as "stalking - harassment - disruption", then I submit that you're not entirely clear on what scientific discussions actually involve. You see, in scientific discussions, people actually get to challenge your statements if they seem inaccurate. If that sort of thing upsets you, perhaps you'd best not participate.

Perhaps you should mailorder some precambrian fossils of your own. This might help you come to terms with their existence.

Blaming me for your mental problem too !

Okay, I'll bite -- where, exactly, do you believe I did such a thing? Be sure to quote me.

And yes, I am aware that carbon dating can be wrong, sometimes severely so, BUT...it isn't always and the abundance of data suggesting an old earth is tremendous.

There are, actually. They just don't make as much noise as the young-earth creationists.

This quote was posted on another thread; its reposting here seems to be an attempt to disrupt. In other words, it's a troll.

If not, I'm afraid the contract is toothless.

Not only toothless. It's counterproductive. All the "evildoers" will joyfully sign on and continue their merry ways, emboldened by a document that will be used to legitimize their behavior.

Please observe that there are NO quote marks around #151.

Italicized text is, by convention, quoted material. If you're not used to the site, lurk a while longer.

Why is everyone so uptight here today??

I can't speak for everyone. I hate it when people invent things and then attempt to give the impression I wrote them.

How about an "I don't know" creationist?

Will THAT do???

[Astute readers will note that Elsie has presented the above sentence in a way that falsely gives the impression the RWP wrote it, when indeed he did not.]

<-- Elsie did NOT write this

Of course you didn't. I wrote it. And I very clearly presented it as my own words, and in no way implied they were yours. Furthermore, I stand by it.

Now are you going to address the manner in which you put words into RWP's mouth, or is that the best response you've got?

and, not only THAT, but I used there when their was called for...........

A trivial mistake, which is why I did not comment upon it. This hardly excuses the larger problem in your original post, however.

If you call mud dwelling sludge animals - remains precambrian fossils do you think that is ok ?

I mean real fossils of higher species than worms and mollusks !

I just wrote a document dealing with LLD determination for radioactive dose measurements. (I am the lead researcher on a new instrument.) They are not measuring noise.

Unfortunately, the measurements dicussed here are mass spectrometric, not radioactive.

When they're not doing this they are busy posting stupid blue placemarkers, "don't feed the trolls"/"virtual ignore" graphics and pompous suggestions that the opinions of people who believe that God created ALL should take their thoughts elsewhere

Well, we can do the same. Who cares? We all know what they're like.

Was I trying to excuse it?

I think not.

And, by merely READING it (understanding... yada yada blah blah blah) most anyone could SEE that it was a satirical statement.
There was no harm; and if someone thinks there was any intended by me, then they are mistaken.
