She should prioritize her necessities according to her income or governmental allotment.

I think if Mrs. Piltz got her FREE (Grandma always told me "nuttin' is free boy") cable taken away and had to do something else (hopefully physical), she wouldn't need the Rascal

she looks like she needs to watch those food channels.
To: Prof Engineer
I'm pretty pissed off they have ever had it at all! If someone would rather go without food than cable, they have some serious priority problems!

..shed have to go without groceries if she wanted cable, she said. Based on her picture, this might not be a bad idea.
To: Texan5
don't they have a lot of nerve getting pissed off about anything since they get everything for free already.
To: ElectricStrawberry
My thoughts exactly.
This is unfreaking believable.

My husband lost his job last year and cable was one of the first things to go. We are now frequent patrons of the public library and we are getting along just fine. Not sure if we will get it back if/when we can afford it again.

My question is what did Bush know, when did he know it, and why does he want to take away this poor woman's TV?

Evidently the woman also has a free service as well with a home buffet delivery service.

"Television Service at Risk for those in Public Housing" This thread reminds me of a song a friend of mine wrote back in the 80's titled: Welfare people shouldn't get HBO.
It was almost a hit!

Steve Guttenberg's version of the Miranda warning from "Police Academy" to the contrary, you do not have the right to cable TV. Sorry.
