"Bring 'em on," the man said. He is not a brave man, but he plays one on television.
When it came his turn to fight in a war, he hid behind Daddy. Then he had another drink and hid from the National Guard. Then he had another drink.

A good reminder of the dishonesty and viciousness of our opposition...

He is not a brave man, but he plays one on television. Yeah, being President of the US takes no courage at all. It's not like you are a constant target or anything. Not like you have to make important, world changing decisions. Nah. That's what courageous journalists in liberal west coast big towns do.

I give this scumbag four and a half barfs. He bravely attacks others' courage from the safety of a newspaper page and then bravely orders a total and craven retreat in Iraq.

Nothing more disingenuous than an extreme leftwinger from San Francisco trying to sound like he gives a damn about people in the armed forces.

Geez, what a muddled mess of an article -- turning here, turning there, skipping off the surface of everything.
BTW, is Harley Sorensen a man or a woman?

Complete drivel. It's one thing to be critical of the administration or even disagree.
However, this type of lunacy has to be reflective of a deeper underlying mental illness.

This has so many lies, distortions, ad hominem attacks, non sequitors, and so forth in it, I really do not know where to start challenging it. Thanks for the reminder of just how low the enemy can go.

...Well, Saddam has vanished. Who is our enemy now?...
Same as it has been, the American left.

My terse e-mail to this person:
"Well, Saddam has vanished. Who is our enemy now?"
You would be pretty high on my list.

From experience I have come to expect that socialists to whom one talks or whose crap one reads will invariably demonstrate a lack of grasp of how the world works. Sorry, Harley, you're not the exception I've been seeking.

Who is our enemy now?I'd say the writer, Harley Sorensen, is a pretty good candidate.

You might be right that this jackass is mentally unstable (and I'd like to see him and Dubya with boxing gloves in a ring together, we'd see what brave words Harley would have). But after initially reading the first paragraph and chalking him up as just a typical leftist nutjob, I read more of the article...or as much as I could stand anyway. By throwing in the comments about oil and Vietnam, Sorenson gives himself away. Not as just another crazy leftist as is obvious, but more as a hater of America who's trying to convince himself that he's right. No mention about the downfall of Hussein ending the tyranny of one of the worst mass murderers of the recent times. No congratulations for trying to destroy the fascist Islamic killers who are the foes of civilization. It's not essentially an attack on Bush, it's basically an attack against America. This guy needs help.

I know how to help him. He should be embedded with the troops for about 6 months. Then we will see what he writes.

This article and these people are a prime example of why America dosen't trust the Left on matters of National Security. November of 1994 America put Conservatives in charge of Congress and in 2000 the White House. This isn't by chance but because the Left has been shown for what it really is.
Their willingness to say and do anything to gain power is as transparent is their lies and obfuscations.
Praise be the America is slowly but surely shifting to the Right.
