President Bush *NEVER* used illegal drugs. That is a bald-faced *LIE* perpetrated by the *MEDIA*. I am *DISAPPOINTED* that any Freeper would fall for that one.

You can see how this Arnold fixation is degrading the party - - - his followers laugh at or justify depraved activity, and even try to use the Clinton line - "everybody does it", and they're even willing to drag W into the mud to defend their new hero! I started out enthusiastic about Arnold, but I've come to believe that it will pull the GOP into the moral muck with the Democrats if such as he become our leaders. No more pro-family or pro-life, just anything that's glitz and pleases the lowest common denominator of society. Sad, sad, sad.

Why are all of Schwarzenegger's interviews with *PORNOGRAPHIC* magazines like Playboy and Oui?

Now THAT'S how he should play it. Just like when Bush REFUSED to take back that "major league a**hole" dig at Clymer on Letterman, Arnold should just go right ahead and be brutally honest about it. He did the interview/photos/whatever to advance his career at the time. Would he do that today? The thought is patently absurd. He's twice the age now, and is (hopefully) a wiser person (he's also got more money than God--so to speak--and doesn't have to). He can take it head on and say at least he's not a slimy politican trying to hide from his past. He's successful, he's here, and he wants to solve California's problems. If he puts it the right way, he's got *nothing* to worry about--ESPECIALLY in California.

Perhaps Arnold eventually saw the error of his ways. He does appear to live a substantially different lifestyle than in his earlier years. If he has changed, could you find it in your heart to forgive him?

I hope it's a lie. I think GW would of come clean....but based upon my experience, you never know.

... Arnold is far from perfect but far better than Bustamante. McClintock is closer to my beliefs but unattainable this time around.

Agreement!

I was giggling reading this article, thinking big labor's money may move over to Arnold now....he should have run as a Democrat, he would win in a landslide....

while Gray Davis was macking on a drunk 16 year old Cybil Shepard on the beach in Hawaii, Arnold was pumping you up!

Well, at least Arnold won't reverse the moral decay if he becomes Governor. I hope all our children hear this. Hopefully it will inspire them not to become bodybuilders. And you thought California was the laughingstock of the world now. Wow, there is enough dirty jokes here for his entire term.

Ridicule?

You ridicule me? Great tactic.

My kind? What is that?

What example do you have of my 'extreme' position?

Does he STILL do this? That would be more relevant.

He still supports street morals - - pro-abortion and gay adoption. That way lies ruin for our society and nation.

One of the worst Republican strategies was the 'holier than thou' position that left them open to hypocrisy when a scandal broke, drove away voters who were sinners, and played into the Dem stereotype that they used to fire up their base and young people.

It was a stupid political strategy, and people are finally seeing that.

The old stereotype is dead...long live the new stereotype!

Isn't that what gays were called back then? IIRC, in 1977, the euphemisms were "f---", fairies, homos, "light in the sandals"; but NEVER gays. That wasn't popular until the last 15 years or so. (What I'm suggesting is that it was not politically incorrect for its time.)

If he has changed, could you find it in your heart to forgive him?

He's still preaching moral decadance --- gay "rights" and gay adoption, and anything-goes abortion. Unlike his orgies of old, this hurts society as a whole -- if he gets into a position of power where he can pervert the Republican Party off of its pro-family principles. We don't need a second party that stands for depravity; we already have the Democrats.
