And they are displeased that half the workforce will pounce on better opportunity?
Har! Snivel... "where's the loyalty?".

No deals. I just want others to read your post.

What is the incentive? The pay is horrible. Benefits non-existent. Dealing with the public is tantamount to torture. The hours are terrible. No holidays off, weekends, nights.Well, somebody's got to do it... Although I agree; those kind of positions may be hard to fill, but there's a reason for it.

In 10 years, available jobs could outnumber workers by 6.7 million, according to a new analysis by the nonprofit Employment Policy Foundation in Washington.
Is this like the "IT worker shortage" excuse that was used to bring in H1bs?

And they are displeased that half the workforce will pounce on better opportunity? Har! Snivel... "where's the loyalty?". Its funny how it works, when unemployment and the economy are bad, they are falling all over themselves to lay people off and the remaining workers they treat like sh!t. When the economy gets better and unemployment is down, they discover a new found love for their employees and start the 'we're all family', we love you guys' bs.

I was being very particular as a joke. If you post that, you should also post the disclaimer that "Laz is being facetious in this posting".
Or else you are not being intellectually honest....

No, I think I will stick with what you wrote. Thanks for playing.

Well, somebody's got to do itYep, and it seems as if there's never a shortage of (un)willing cretins waiting to step up.
When was last the last time your change was counted back to you?

When was last the last time your change was counted back to you?Um, uhm, geez, wow...
I know it wasn't at lunchtime; whenever I go out to lunch, I'm very careful to use exact change, and I've just about given up on drive-through windows...

No, I think I will stick with what you wrote. Thanks for playingAh, so you intend to be purposefully misleading.
That makes you a liar.
It is odd that the pro-free-trade crowd is filled with so many who lob ad hominums and who lie outright, as you have chosen to do.
Well, I will follow you around and set the record straight.

"When I speak to audiences of senior executives, I ask how many companies are experiencing difficulty right now in filling critical positions, and between 70 and 80 percent of the hands go up," says Roger Herman, lead author of "Impending Crisis: Too Many Jobs, Too Few People" and CEO of the Herman Group consulting firm in Greensboro, N.C. I don't believe the executes or Roger Herman are telling the truth.

heh. good question. I always ask the toll booth attendant to count the change back to me. Kind of rubs him the wrong way though.

And why is it, that the ranks of the Unfair Traders seem to be filled with those who strictly lob ad-hominums, and who lie outright?

If there were such a shortage, those over the age of 45 wouldn't have such a hard time finding a job.

Aw geez, lazamataz, please don't go through all that trouble. I only said I would stick to what you wrote as a joke. Also, you've made a couple of false assumptions, but I won't bother you with them.

Yeah, just like they all predicted the current surplus in high-tech. Not to mention the dot com crash.
If the current trends continue, in ten years we'll be a banana republic while India and China will look like the promise land. Nice inheritance for our grandchildren.

Aw geez, lazamataz, please don't go through all that trouble. I only said I would stick to what you wrote as a joke.So long as you make sure to label my quote as an intentional joke on my part, we got no beef.
If you try to pass it off as being serious, I'll correct the record.
