Hyundai Suppliers Bring New Jobs to Selma: 09/05/2003 Estee Clark
A new automotive industry is coming to Dallas County creating jobs for the people living in and around that area. Officials from the Selma and Dallas County Centre for Commerce announce that more than one tier two supplier for Hyundai will be locating at the Craig Field Industrial Park.
The names of the companies have not been released but they will supply parts to the LEAR Corporation for the interior of Hyundai Vehicles. The plants could bring between one hundred to four hundred jobs to the area.
The names of the companies are expected to be announced in the next few weeks. They are scheduled to be up and running when Hyundai starts production in March 2005.

There's a new attitude among college students, at this school anyway. There's more of them, they are studying hard, and there's a lot more taking the more difficult classes like upper level math and philosophy. It's looking good for the literate workforce coming soon.
