No doubt there are still plenty of college students who approve of abortion. But their numbers are definitely shrinking. The prolife movement is doing very well among the younger generation. Survivors, for instance, has been very effective in speaking to them. NARAL and NOW are losing support, and the Supreme Court is shellshocked that this issue simply won't go away, as they assumed it would when they passed Roe v. Wade and then Casey.

My impression as a long-time college professor is also that although the faculty is stuffed full of aging radical leftists, the student body is more or less normal. Some of them have never really given as much thought as they might to these issues, but they are definitely--with regretable exceptions--much less leftist than the professoriate.

Thank you for sharing your frustrations! Indeed, sometimes the outlook seems gloomy - but we have made significant progress. There are fewer abortion clinics today and more importantly, the attitude about abortions is shifting from a "yeah for abortions" more to an "I'm against them but don't want to be told I can't have one" attitude. That is a step in the right direction. Progress, not perfection.

Well picked up. I have worked in Security for a University for almost 20 years and have seen the student body turn from druken beer swilling Liberal louts (and that was just the women) into fairly serious, studious people. Even those studying enviromental subjects tend to be more presentable and less feral. The only groups that continue to worry me are Teaching, Social Work and the Arts and these are the very people who have the greatest influence on Democrat types.

It has been a long time since I have read such a hard-hitting post. Excellent job.

I thought nothing would top the pictures I saw of a funeral for a just-aborted baby. They were posted on an anti-abortion website (I forgot which one - maybe www.abortiontv.com?), and it turned my stomach. The "parents" of the murdered child posed with the body, which had been dressed up in a white dress. Thankfully, there were no close-ups of the murdered child's face.

This story is just as bad, if not worse.

Please let Harkin, Murray and Boxer begin to display overtly externally all over their faces and in their lives, the hideous evil lurking so controllingly in their hearts. IF there's a remote chance they can be jerked from the jaws of hell, so be it. Based on genuine repentance, I'd be willing to forgive them.

If there's no chance, Lord, if their die has been cast and their eternal lot decided, then, please, Lord, make a spectacle of them publicly, openly before God and man. May they publicly and supernaturally demonstrate to a maximum extreme the evil lurking in their hearts and then be just as publicly and more supernaturally terminally disciplined accordingly by your Spirit and the Fire of your perfection, purity and love for all those murdered by their 'leadership' in the name of comfort and convenience.
