We heard that Lanza. Apparently Geragos is moving too slow for the Petersons AND he doesn't come and see Snott enough.!! The Sr. Peterson's are actually deceived enough to think that the Prelim is going to "free" their baby!! What a shock they have coming. Of course, the whole world is lying and has a personal vendetta against their son. Only Snott is telling the truth. GAG GAG BAAAAAAARRRRRFFFF!! The guy doesn't know the truth from a lie. If I recall she was talking with her Mom around 8:00 p.m. We still have no idea when the call from Amber to Scott was made, or from Scott to Amber was made on Dec 23. It could have been after the 8:00p.m. call when she was talking to her mother and therefore Laci wouldn't have said anything to Sharon Rocha.

Good points, CO. That is how everyone described her.

But I'm thinking, hmmm, you know, it's often been said that Scott had had other affairs while married. Now, Laci was not a dummy by any means--I always heard that she was very smart. I think she must have found out about or suspected at least one or two of his affairs.

Isn't it possible that she didn't want to publicly acknowledge that she knew of his having this or that affair, b/c she wasn't ready to act on the knowledge (leave him and make a whole new life)? They say that cheated-on wives often do not reveal that they know about the affair. They say that this is b/c the cheated-on wives have decided to live with it, and are not yet ready for the upheaval of a total break-up.

But, on the whole, I guess you're pretty near the truth: she possibly didn't know about it before--after all, it had only been going on for a month--but she sure was on the verge of a rude awakening!

The problem is, that sort of "Son of Sam" law has been challenged, and it has been overturned before in certain jurisdictions. There is, to my knowledge, currently NO settled law that says he can't profit from his crimes. IOW, he may WELL be able to profit by "telling his story" even if he is proved to be the murderer! So Sharon is smart to do what she's doing.

That could be right.

I used to have a friend who was a cop. The worse the crime, the smarter the criminal usually thinks he/she is. They are wrong about that. Cops move methodically during investigations. Given the rules, they pretty much have to.

But to assume they are stupid is an act of profound stupidity. They are not.
