WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Newspaper columnist Robert Novak said Monday that no one in the administration called him to identify the wife of Bush critic Joe Wilson as a CIA operative.
Wilson, who was acting U.S. ambassador to Iraq just before the Persian Gulf War of 1991, has said White House officials revealed his wife's identity to Novak in retaliation for his exposing flaws in prewar intelligence on Iraq.

"The Washington Post quoted a "senior administration official..."
Oh yeah, I can see a senior administration official giving this info to the Washington Post. Why would anyone from the White House even be speaking to the Post. It's nothing more than a Bush-bashing liberal rag. I think this is bull.

Fox News showed her with her husband at the White House during some dinner there. If she was a CIA covert agent, would she be seen at such a public function?

It was on Brit Hume's show last night. They were only shown from the back, but they were going through a welcome line and were filmed shaking hands with Bubba.

BTW, the only quote I have from Tenet is that they sent an operative to Niger in 2002. He didn't say it was Mr. Wilson, at least not in that quote from his congressional presentation.
Wilson claimed to be the one when he decided to leak but does anyone have a named goverment source which confirms that the operative was indeed Mr. Wilson?

I think this guy watched "Alias" a bit to much and thought his wife was the role model for Sydney Bristow.

IMO, Bubba stuffed his buddies in the CIA and State Department so they could cause trouble for the Bush Administration. That's my analysis of all this hogwash.
Geez, election year is starting way too early.
