Let us not miss the real point here.

that even the most casual observer of clinton abuse of women
would make the connection: "predator" -- her "Bill"

So what her little joke is intended to do
is to inoculate her
from her own predatory co-rapist role in the clinton rapes
as she simultaneously bashes California's Arnold and her Bill.

by making his victims less human than he;
we will have allowed clinton to carefully estrange us from his victims
so that we can enjoy the rapes and the beatings
as much as clinton himself does.

As much as I despise HC, this Predator thing is unfair. She was referring to an earlier piece on the Daily Show which noted that several actors in the movie "Predator" had gone on to run for office--Jesse Ventura and now Arnold. The Predator was expected to announce his candidacy for the Senate, soon. Get it? It is funny how she stuck her foot in her mouth, but she wasn't calling Arnold a predator.

Having lived in the White House with the predator, the point is that unscripted and "spontaneous" she goes straight to the thing she should avoid. It's really quite deliciously freudian.

Not that I think telling you this will make any difference, but the "Predator" in that movie WASN'T ARNOLD.

Immediately prior to that statement, they showed a clip of the Predator from the movie with the caption "Senator Predator". This was in the context of actors from the movie getting into politics (Ventura and now Arnold). The parody mused about other actors from that movie getting into politics, showing Carl Weathers, for example, and also "The Predator".

This is a non-story and I'm embarassed that most FReepers don't get it.

Missus clinton really ought to get with the program,
give up on the inoculation bit already
and follow her husband's lead.

There are certain words,
like "predator" and "rape,"
that hubby long ago
deleted from the clinton lexicon.
The little missus would be wise to do the same.

This sins of omission dynamic became especially clear when the protected. i.e, the rapist, became the protector. Whereas bill clinton took every opportunity to demagogue the Bosnia rapes, he never once mentioned the rapes that occurred in Kosovo. This seeming contradiction evaporates when one realizes that during the intervening period clinton was fingered as the serial rapist of Juanita Broaddrick, 19-year-old Eileen Wellstone, an as-yet-unnamed, drugged, 14-year-old, and others.

Moreover, the sound clip was not -- and will never be -- played in context. In politics and the media, such a sound clip is known as a sound bite. There is no expectation of in-context cites of a sound bite. Indeed, quite the contrary.

Surely, hillary knows about sound bites.

Either she knew precisely what she was doing by uttering those words, or she was clueless. The former demonstrates an arrogance rooted in stupidity that is uniquely clinton; the latter demonstrates just plain stupidity.

Out of context, using the word "senator", the comment means nothing.
