New book makes kids PRO-LIFE
READ IT ONLINE NOW . . . IN JUST TWO MINUTES!
Angel in the Waters is a simple, non-confrontational book that will make young children decidedly pro-life long before they ever hear the word "abortion." It will convince many mothers contemplating abortion to keep their babies. In just two minutes, you can read the whole book online. (Just last week our proofreader, Nora, was proofreading Angel in the Waters online when her three-year-old daughter turned away from a cartoon show, saw a page of this book on the computer screen, and demanded that Nora read the whole book to her right then!) See for yourself. |
Take two minutes to read Angel in the Waters at

Angel in the Waters will be published in November.
Time to give this book another bump!
Just read it to my 4yr old daughter. She loves it and wants to hear the story again! Thanks for posting, I'll be ordering several copies myself.
Thanks for giving this thread a bump. Reminds me of what I might get my grandchildren this Christmas.
I had totally forgotten this sweet little book!
Time for another bump ...
Excellent book. Do you have contact info for the illustrator?
When I was about that age, LIFE Magazine had published a photographic essay of life from conception to birth and my parents let me look at that magazine. It was certainly as graphic as this story but I think it was good for me to read.
BTTT!
The link doesn’t work. I’d love to see it.
It’s an old article. I’ll check it.
Working links at the end of the thread.
Checked this and it works (requires Adobe Flash plug-in):

It’s darling, isn’t it?
It’s a wonderful story, tenderly told.
It reminds me of a photo essay in LIFE magazine from around the mid-1960s, showing the development of a baby, from fertilization to birth. I remember looking through it when I was quite small and my younger siblings were smaller, and another one on the way. It’s good for children to know where babies come from and to absorb what they are ready to understand.
Hi, here is the LIFE Magazine article I was thinking of:
Drama of Life Before Birth. Life, April 30, 1965.

Amazing that this actually appeared in LIFE!
