NEW ITALIAN CATHEDRAL TO PADRE PIO DESIGNED AS FREEMASONIC TEMPLE
Chiesa Viva authored by Dr. Engineer Franco Addessa ^ | March 2006 | D. M. S.

Posted on 07/19/2006 10:40:38 AM PDT by Youngstown

IS THE NEW CATHEDRAL TO PADRE PIO IN SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO ACTUALLY A "MASONIC TEMPLE"?

I have just received and am in the process of studying a special issue, #381 (March 2006), of the Italian religious magazine “CHIESA VIVA”. It is my understanding that in March 2006 this special issue was sent by the publisher/editor of “Chiesa Viva”, Dr. Monsignor Luigi Villa, to Catholic & 'catholic' priests, Bishops, Cardinals, as well as a selected group of Italian lay persons including members of the judiciary. This entire special issue deals with only one subject, that being the inauguration in July 2004 (construction began in 1996) of the new Cathedral dedicated to Padre Pio of San Giovanni Rotondo. The authors allege that after years of study they are now able to prove that this new church is in fact, NOT a Catholic Church, but rather a “Masonic temple”!

The authors (the engineer Franco Adessa) further allege that they have analyzed the complete church structure including the entry doors to the church, the altar plus the cross that hovers over it, the chapel of Adoration with the Tabernacle made out of jet black stone with the 13 plaques of silver as well as the immense stone cross that towers 40 meters over the piazza.

The authors allege that Masonic symbols are apparent everywhere. The authors allege that their special issue of Chiesa Viva has put into focus an alleged Masonic plan to DO battle with God by attempting to destroy the Catholic Church with Masonic Ecumenism. According to the authors the most devastating aspect of this blasphemy is the direct insult to the Holy Trinity and Our Lord Jesus Christ that have been symbolically displaced from the Cross and the Tabernacle and replaced by the blasphemous “Masonic triple trinity” and of Lucifer in person.

The authors allege that this story is one of money, power and control that go to the very top. To date news services around the world seem to be totally unaware of what has allegedly transpired in San Giovanni Rotondo, not one word has been uttered by the Vatican or other officials and millions of devotees to Saint Padre Pio are unaware and would be outraged if they ever suspected that their donations (estimated to be over $250,000,000.00 US) had been used to allegedly defame their beloved Saint!

If these allegations are in fact verified the scandal could be enormous. Millions of Catholics devoted to Padre Pio would be shocked and angry. The scandal would involve huge sums of money, the defamation of a Sainted Priest loved world wide by millions, the undermining of Faith, the undermining of the Catholic Hierarchy. It seems that officially no one in the Vatican is talking about this alleged scandal, even though a special reunion took place in San Giovanni Rotondo, on May 1 through May 6, 2006 attended by 150 Vatican experts including the Secretary of State Sodano. Ostensibly these experts converged on San Giovanni Rotondo to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the hospital (Casa di Sollievo della Sofferenza) by Padre Pio. Their meetings were open to the public during the day, however, their closed door evening meetings were allegedly dedicated to high level discussions of the Chiesa Viva special issue #381.It was subsequently reported, confidentially, that the Vatican has adopted an official solution that essentially amounts to total silence on this matter! If this is true then the allegations of Chiesa Viva may be much more than allegations and silence on the part of the Vatican is tantamount to conceding victory to Chiesa Viva. How long can this story be kept under wraps before the devotees of Padre Pio find out that they and their saint have been betrayed!?

Neither #41 nor #43 are Freemasons - more bs, but I know for sure that #43 would be an example of what a Mason should be.

Bob Dole would have been the fifteenth President to be a Freemason.

I need to check that, I know that there is a tendency to confuse the Skull and Bones types with Freemasonry, I may have confused it myself

If you are one, you dishonor the Fraternity that I have known very honorable men to be a part of.

Sorry to disappoint you so that you can't insult me, but I'm not one. I am involved in other aspects of the Church that don't allow me enough time to be a member of the Knights.

Mod, you were right to lock down this thread; it should never have been unlocked. The personal attacks have been mostly one sided ( anti-Masonic ), almost nobody has managed to talk about the topic of this thread, and while I realize that I am being baited, surely you can't expect me to just sit back and continually take the the base libel, without any kind of retort.

Hey, prav...it is you who are playing word game; not to mention continually baiting, lying, and in general, posting highly provocative and off topic replies. It is long past time that you stop it.

Not actually because I don't exactly fit the bill. I said earlier that the charitable works the Masons do is commendable. What I disagree with though is your philosophy and the promoting of religious indifferentism.

Freemasonry is NOT a religion, no matter how many times you and your group post that it is, that doesn't make it so. And the old argument that some of the FFs were deists, has recently been debunked.

Debunked by whom? Revisionist historians? There's plenty of historical proof that they were Deists and that proof is in their own writings. To deny it, is to deny American history.

Mod, please read the post this is posted to.

prav, your continued personal attacks and outright smears, is beneath contempt. First you stated that a Catholic joining Freemasonry would be like a Jew becoming a Nazi and now this bit of garbage.

because Masonic symbology abounds on it. >>

the all seeing eye is not just masonic, it's an ancient symbol used by differnt cultures and religions that have different meanings. I have seen the all seeing eye in Christian Churches. It's symbolic of the Holy Trinity, One God, 3 persons.

As we know, the fish represented the first letters of the phrase: "Jesus Christ Saviour, Son of God" in Greek. The "X" is the first letter of "Christ" in Greek.

The All-Seeing Eye, used in pagan religions and also in modern free-masonry, represents the Holy Trinity (the triangle) in One God, represented by the Divine Eye of the All-Seeing and All-Knowing God.

One can see this symbol used in iconography and one should not hesitate to use it for personal devotion. The fact is that there are many symbols that other religious philosophies have in common with Christianity, but with different meanings attached to them.

If Christians were to get rid of any of their cherished symbols only because other non-Christian paths used them, we would soon have NO symbols to speak of!

"First you stated that a Catholic joining Freemasonry would be like a Jew becoming a Nazi..."

Oh, it is far worse than that. For a Catholic to join the Freemasons is to join the very enemies of Christ and His Church.

Pope John Paul II raised to altar St. Maximilian Kolbe, a believer in the authenticity of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion and a professed adversary of the Freemasons. St. Kolbe gave his life to save a Jewish man in a Nazi concentration camp.

St. Maximilian Kolbe:

"At that time I was conscious of a greater tendency to pride; nevertheless I felt the Immaculata drawing me to herself more and more closely... I had a custom of keeping a holy picture of one of the Saints to whom she appeared on my prie-dieu in my cell, and I used to pray to the Immaculata very fervently. One of my confreres, upon seeing the picture, remarked that I must have a great devotion to that Saint. But it was really the Immaculata to whom I was directing my prayers. Years later, the Freemasons in Rome began to demonstrate openly and belligerently against the Church. They placed the black standard of the "Giordano Brunisti" under the windows of the Vatican. On this standard the archangel, St. Michael, was depicted lying under the feet of the triumphant Lucifer. At the same time, countless pamphlets were distributed to the people in which the Holy Father was attacked shamefully. Right then I conceived the idea of organizing an active society to counteract Freemasonry and other slaves of Lucifer."

None of you are worth getting suspended or banned for and WHY none of you have been suspended, is beyond me. So, if you expect a reply, in kind, from all of your baiting, flaming, and outright lies, you can forget about it; though believe me, I could post historically factual refutations AND examples of Catholic abuses, corruption, and worse, which would then cause YOU to scream about "CATHOLIC BASHING". Of course, that would NOT be the case at all, but you'd do your very best to get me banned or suspended.

Jesus, as far as I know, when he was alive, never preached against social organizations.

If Freemasonry was into a "one world religion", ruling the world, and all of the other nutty tinfoil garbage you and your ilk keep posting, they would have accomplished it long ago.

First, he didn't say that and I pray the Moderator will evaluate his original statement in post #22 in the light it was meant to be taken. Secondly, if you're going to hit the abuse button, I suggest you report your fellow Masons that have called Catholics stupid, dishonorable and some other choice words in here. Not to mention calling our priests queers as oldtimer did in post #192.

Notice you didn't get too upset about those comments.

The same goes for you. I wonder why you are tolerated when you resort to so many personal attacks and you can't seem to debate the subject without going into hysterical fits and wanting people banned or suspended!

Yours isn't the only valued opinion on this website. Others have a right to voice their mind just as much as you do.

Do you honestly believe that Jesus would approve of an organization that thinks being a Buddhist, a Muslim, a Hindu, or any other non-believer in Jesus Christ is okay?

What about the oaths taken in Freemasonry? Do you think He would approve of those?

"But I say to you not to swear at all, neither by heaven, for it is the throne of God:

Nor by the earth, for it is his footstool: nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great king:

Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.

But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil.

Freemasonry does not require any man to forsake his religion nor his religious beliefs. Neither does it claim that no religions are valid.

You have the right to practice your religion, because that's how it is in America. What you are NOT allowed to do, is to libel and smear and condemn others, because they don't walk in lockstep with you. Neither are you allowed to continue these personal attacks on FR and why you are being permitted to get away with it, is quite beyond me.

You obviously have an abject lack of understanding about the so-called separation of church and state. America, unlike European nations/empires and its own early colonies, has no national religion. All peoples, no matter where they live, are allowed religious freedom.

Nathan Bedford Forrest began the KKK. I don't know if he was a Mason. Please supply a source for your claim that Masons founded the KKK.

OTOH, I do know that Catholics founded the Italian Mafia and brought it to America. Now, the Mafia ( and Arabic word, BTW ), began in Sicily. The word Mafia" translates into "the honored society". While Masons and college fraternities have their innitiatants take all kinds of "oaths", unlike the Mafia, it's all pageantry. The newly "made men" of the Mafia take blood oaths, which actually DO get carried out, should the "code of silence" be ignored. Heck, they get whacked for much less than that!

Your very distant relative met Madame Guillotine, because he was an ARISTO; something you claimed for him, yourself. There was NO "MASONIC CONSPIRACY" behind the French Revolution; none. And for you to keep saying that, just proves that you prefer to spew cooked up garbage, rather than to face proven historical facts.

Then do so in PRIVATE and leave FR's Masonic community out of your perverse condemnations; n00b! And stop lying about Freemasonry.

You most assuredly DO owe all Masons, alive and dead and their families an apology.

"Innumerable murderous rampages"? Hmmmmmmmmmmm...that's really quite a stretch. LOL

You really are quite something..................

It really says quite a LOT about YOU, that you have to keep TELLING LIES in order to smear the Masons.
