NEW ITALIAN CATHEDRAL TO PADRE PIO DESIGNED AS FREEMASONIC TEMPLE
Chiesa Viva authored by Dr. Engineer Franco Addessa ^ | March 2006 | D. M. S.

Posted on 07/19/2006 10:40:38 AM PDT by Youngstown

IS THE NEW CATHEDRAL TO PADRE PIO IN SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO ACTUALLY A "MASONIC TEMPLE"?

I have just received and am in the process of studying a special issue, #381 (March 2006), of the Italian religious magazine “CHIESA VIVA”. It is my understanding that in March 2006 this special issue was sent by the publisher/editor of “Chiesa Viva”, Dr. Monsignor Luigi Villa, to Catholic & 'catholic' priests, Bishops, Cardinals, as well as a selected group of Italian lay persons including members of the judiciary. This entire special issue deals with only one subject, that being the inauguration in July 2004 (construction began in 1996) of the new Cathedral dedicated to Padre Pio of San Giovanni Rotondo. The authors allege that after years of study they are now able to prove that this new church is in fact, NOT a Catholic Church, but rather a “Masonic temple”!

The authors (the engineer Franco Adessa) further allege that they have analyzed the complete church structure including the entry doors to the church, the altar plus the cross that hovers over it, the chapel of Adoration with the Tabernacle made out of jet black stone with the 13 plaques of silver as well as the immense stone cross that towers 40 meters over the piazza.

The authors allege that Masonic symbols are apparent everywhere. The authors allege that their special issue of Chiesa Viva has put into focus an alleged Masonic plan to DO battle with God by attempting to destroy the Catholic Church with Masonic Ecumenism. According to the authors the most devastating aspect of this blasphemy is the direct insult to the Holy Trinity and Our Lord Jesus Christ that have been symbolically displaced from the Cross and the Tabernacle and replaced by the blasphemous “Masonic triple trinity” and of Lucifer in person.

The authors allege that this story is one of money, power and control that go to the very top. To date news services around the world seem to be totally unaware of what has allegedly transpired in San Giovanni Rotondo, not one word has been uttered by the Vatican or other officials and millions of devotees to Saint Padre Pio are unaware and would be outraged if they ever suspected that their donations (estimated to be over $250,000,000.00 US) had been used to allegedly defame their beloved Saint!

If these allegations are in fact verified the scandal could be enormous. Millions of Catholics devoted to Padre Pio would be shocked and angry. The scandal would involve huge sums of money, the defamation of a Sainted Priest loved world wide by millions, the undermining of Faith, the undermining of the Catholic Hierarchy. It seems that officially no one in the Vatican is talking about this alleged scandal, even though a special reunion took place in San Giovanni Rotondo, on May 1 through May 6, 2006 attended by 150 Vatican experts including the Secretary of State Sodano. Ostensibly these experts converged on San Giovanni Rotondo to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the hospital (Casa di Sollievo della Sofferenza) by Padre Pio. Their meetings were open to the public during the day, however, their closed door evening meetings were allegedly dedicated to high level discussions of the Chiesa Viva special issue #381.It was subsequently reported, confidentially, that the Vatican has adopted an official solution that essentially amounts to total silence on this matter! If this is true then the allegations of Chiesa Viva may be much more than allegations and silence on the part of the Vatican is tantamount to conceding victory to Chiesa Viva. How long can this story be kept under wraps before the devotees of Padre Pio find out that they and their saint have been betrayed!?

This March 2006 special edition of Chiesa Viva has been sent to the following traditional and conservative Catholic publications and amazingly they are afraid to reprint the story.

Funding for an English translation has been secured, however, from private sources, and is now proceeding.

As background, the publisher of Chiesa Viva, Monsignor Luigi Villa, was entrusted by Padre Pio with the mission of ferreting out the Communist and Freemasonic infiltration in the Roman Catholic Church.

Monsignor Villa has been most dilligent in this effort over the past five decades and as a result at least four or five attempts have beeen made upon his life, with two of them putting him into a coma, one of which lasted for six months. He has also had every tooth in his mouth broken.

Others with whom Monsignor Villa has worked have been even more unfortunate.

Padre Pio and my great grandparents were paesani (from the same area of Italy) (although they never new each other) He knew very well the dangers of Masons--but Italy has been infested with them for a long time.

The Remnant is afraid to print an article about a Freemason takeover? Wow, I thought I'd heard everything.

If the architect did not conciously incorporate Masonic symbolism in the design of the church, he was obvious very heavily influenced by the following:

1. The main hall of the U.N. General Assembly (church proper);

2. The sketches of M.C. Escher (the cross); and

3. The opening scenes of 2001: A Space Odyssey (the chapel).

Slightly off topic - I'm not Catholic, so much of this is foreign to me. But I've heard of Padre Pio before.

And not in a good way. Apparently, in Northern Ireland, kneecapping and shooting out the elbows is so yesterday. The newest form of punishment shootings over the past couple of years involves having the victim put his hands together as if in prayer. He is then shot through both hands.

They call it the Padre Pio. As I said, I'm not Catholic, but even I must shake my head at that and wonder is there nothing sacred anymore.

One of my great-grandparents was a mason in Italy. What's wrong with the masons?

That title is misleading. The real title was in a question form for a discussion forum. It is NOT based on Freemason symbols, at least it was not meant to be, but on other buildings as another poster has already stated. Of course, a few Masonic symbols were already used by the Church prior to their formation, such as the Maltese Cross, so that would not be incompatible with the Church.

I'm no fan of Freemasons, but the days of them actually working against the Catholic Church are long over, and that was limited to a few incidents in Europe anyway. This is like an old boogie man tale.

Still, it is against Church law for a Catholic to be a Freemason. It is no longer under the penalty of excommunication, but it is still a grave sin, and the Catholic member may not receive communion.

You mean it looks as if it were inspired by a bunch of primitive apes smashing bones together?

I think in Italy they were far more anti-Catholic, one of reasons RCs so against them. In US Masons not anti-Catholic (today)

I think this is an interesting subject. If you can't receive communion, aren't you in effect Ex-COMMUNION-Cated?

Here's an interesting tidbit from EWTN:

"Presumably, there are few if any Christifidelis readers who are unaware that the bishop of Lincoln, Nebraska, the Most Rev. Fabian W. Bruskewitz, on March 19, 1996, using his legitimate authority to make laws which bind members of his flock, published a legislative pronouncement naming twelve organizations, membership in which was defined to be "always perilous to the Catholic Faith and most often is totally incompatible with the Catholic Faith." (Southern Nebraska Register, March 22, 1996.)

The list of organizations contained in the law includes: the Society of St. Pius X and a chapel served by its priests; three non-Catholic organizations which are openly opposed to and contemptuous of the Church's teaching on the sanctity of human life; the Freemasons and four subsidiary groups. Also named are two organizations whose inclusion is sure to cause the most controversy: Call to Action (CTA) and its Nebraska chapter, Call to Action Nebraska. The legislation went on to state: "Any Catholics in and of the Diocese of Lincoln who attain or retain membership in the above listed organizations or groups after April 15, 1996, are by that very fact () under interdict and are absolutely forbidden to receive Holy Communion. Contumacious persistence in such membership for one month following the interdict on [the] part of any such Catholics will by that very fact () cause them to be excommunicated..."

Finally, Somebody Does Something

That aside, Padre Pio would be very displeased at such a church erected in his honor.
