Spiritual Progression [open]

The woman at the well had faulty doctrine. Jesus revealed a lot of incredible truth to her. He told her that He was the Messiah, something others had really wondered about for centuries. He told her that God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship in Spirit and in Truth, implying it was more than just form and ritual.

This was incredible doctrine. He also told her worship was a matter of the heart, more than just a physical location. He demonstrated the power and doctrine of forgiveness - and He did it with the supernatural gift of the Spirit of the word of knowledge. That gift was not abused. When she left Jesus there at the well, it was not carrying an agenda in the form of another doctrine.

She was amazed. She too had wondered about these many things. Her response was heartfelt. This is great news! Others must know! She ran to her village and told everyone she knew. Some were skeptical but they believed too, when they heard for themselves.

There is so much in this one little short story. This lady was probably voted "least likely to succeed." After five husbands, she had probably been through the emotional wringer. Being a Samaritan, she certainly never would have made it big in the Jewish community. And a gifted women in those days had a tough life. If they had a gift, they usually had to sit on it.

Even with all her trials she had a heart to know God, and God met her. Even though circumstances were against her, she still could know and share Truth with other people. She did and they responded - and not so that she could start "a ministry," although she certainly had enough there to start a major movement!

She didn't gather people to herself, she said "Come and see a man." He was an amazing Man and He could share the revelations of God without destroying the people in the process. Even after these others believed, they were all part of the same crowd, in worship of the Messiah.

Today it seems way too many want to hustle the ministry of God for projects. After a while, every message says "Give to me in the Name of the Lord" and while no ministry runs without finances, a warping spirit takes over. Suddenly everything about the Lord means handing over some money and His true Character is denied. Joy leaves, ethics leave, a humble spirit of self sacrifice leaves, and those who have been robbed from reasonable service have become bitter because they have been stretched beyond their capacities and feel shamed. It's not right.

It is true that there is a discipline of the Spirit that is needed in giving but when there is an unbalanced approach, the spirit of mammon and Babylon takes over. Because of that, many ministers have had to resort to tent making ministries to survive to do their calling (and some of that is good) and many sheep have left church life activities over it. They saw they were really serving man instead of God and felt betrayed. Instead of community efforts that ministered to each other to raise funds for projects and come up with loving ideas, it became more like "cough it up and if you perform adequately, we will accept you." That's what happens when ministers don't really know God.

Now some have the gift of speaking and sharing and distributing the Word. And we should support that true ministry. There are many avenues for that, thank God!, and just because someone does that does not mean they are wrong. We give when we can, and business dealings are reasonable - or should be. We all have choices and there is a Holy Spirit who weighs it.

How can we hear without a preacher? If Jesus had not encountered this woman at the well in her daily life, she might still be seeking Him in her prayer closet. Peter was all set to build buildings for Jesus, Elijah and Moses. Three tabernacles or church building centers sounded like a good idea to him! But God corrected His doctrine too. "This is My Beloved Son, hear Him!"

Peter got the message - so much so that he really was willing to die for Jesus and later did. But back to this woman at the well again... in her was a desire to worship. She wanted to do it right. Her doctrine may have been all wrong, and life had been pretty hard on her, but her soul and spirit wanted what was right. And Jesus met her there.

There are many new believers coming into the Kingdom of God because it still is being presented. New believers don't always have all their doctrines worked out. But if there is Love there, they have a heart for others to know it (Him). Because God is a Spirit, there are some things that just don't have all the words there for them yet. But it does not mean that God is not there in it, waiting for His divine strategy for revelation.

This woman, who was obviously not just a kid, could have said, "Ah, thank you Jesus. Now I know!" She could have started a business and charged others to hear this new teaching. It was weighty! She could have had a new list of rules or charged a hefty price for others to pay. She could have spent time and written books that challenged others on their doctrines with this new found revelation since she knew it was strong.

Certainly Jesus could have done that with all He knew! But that is not how it happened. That is not what He did. Jesus offered freedom and then so did this woman. Now the religious leaders certainly got all in an uproar. They accused Jesus of not having THE right doctrines. So much so that they wanted to put Him to death, even though He did them no wrong and obviously was not wrong.

Bad things can happen to even good people. But He knew He was the Resurrection and the Life and so He suffered it. How do we know the right doctrines? The Bible says the Christians are known by their love for one another, not their clubs or doctrines.

Some people have very jumbled up doctrines. But who has it right or not is really up to God to decide. Our job He said is to look for the fruit manifestation. He gave us a brain and a heart and said look for the Love. A person really can get to know His Personality! And in doing that, along the way you can encounter the power to heal, save and deliver and set other captives free and make the world a better place, pleasing Him.

And there are wrong doctrines and wrong powers. These are things that each of us has to determine. Love is as Love does. It's not a faith of just intellect; it's the faith of human relationships too. It's why Jesus came to earth as a man - not just to redeem us but to restore and create fellowship. That was God's original intent for man! We may have great ideas but if we can't fit them into God's view of things, we have failed. We should know when our spirits are teachable. And most, when they see the right fruit of the Spirit are more than willing to do what they can.

Anyone can collect books and knowledge. Even King Solomon said there was no end to that - we can stay busy! There is an infinite God. And we can know Him, even though it is only in increments at a time. Some have a hard time with that because they want to believe it's all or nothing. But true submission is knowing who He is and allowing His revelations to come to you progressively. We are all at different places or dimensions on the path.

Some will make it into the Kingdom of Heaven and some won't but that decision and choice is theirs to make. Some have been very gifted with things or abilities, but their hearts will be tested. And it's not our business how it all turns out, although we can pray with good will. But would you want to be married to a cheater?

No, and God does not either. It can seem people get away with murder but God knows. People struggle, just like the woman at the well obviously did. But there is a Man who can tell you all you ever did and He can still love you, and reveal Himself to you. Some people are just evil but God will reach out to them because some will repent, but we have to know the difference.

God can and will forgive sin. But it is so a person can love again. Or maybe love for the very first time. God is a good God and His Heart is for His people. If we are not kind along the way, what we do can hurt others and ourselves. We may not like where a person is or even what their doctrine is. But if we give them the space to make their choices and hold on to what we know is right, ultimately God can come through and change everything.

For that woman at the well, He changed her whole city! And she didn't even realize it but He was also changing the world through her. Just believe and trust Him, He will see you through.

The Logistics of Spiritual Warfare - by Pam Clark

A lady had a symbolic dream where she was in a spiritual battle. She dreamed she was in a Christian bookstore and it was empty and that there was only one person left, who lay dying all dressed in black on the floor.

When she looked into the eyes of this young man, she saw only evil and felt a horrible evil presence trying to take over even her. She only wanted to help the young man and show him Jesus, but he was not open to it. The whole area seemed desolate from the Presence of God with even him trying to attack her as he lay dying.

She cried out for Jesus, but had great difficulty, even getting the word of His Name out of her mouth. She wondered what it meant and why it was so difficult. She did get it out and found her deliverance, but was troubled by it. Much of this letter is my response to her that I am also sharing with you.

We are in a spiritual battle. Many don't want to hear it, but we are. Many have had similar experience encounters where it feels and seems you are powerless and drained in confrontation with the enemy. It's an attack on one's faith. (Remember the parable of the sower. The seed is the Word that brings faith which gives life.)

It's vital to know and learn how the enemy operates. The enemy hates God, wanted to be "as God" and tried to take over God. It didn't work. There is a spiritual progression that gets people into a position of being possessed or overtaken by sin and evil spirits.

First, there is a temptation which brings a fascination with something that someone knows they should not be involved with. This is where God's people truly perish for a lack of proper knowledge and understanding. God has given us His Word and made mankind accountable for his (our) brethren and our children. God's Word is in the earth and mankind is accountable, for there is no mistaking His Presence in Creation which speaks of Him.

Romans 1: 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

After a fascination with sin, especially with things like the occult and witchcraft or drugs or sexual sin, a type of transformation takes place that usually leads to a personality change for the worse. Afterward comes an oppression, then depression, then then obcession, then possession.

Usually up to obcession, a person can deliver themselves with effort, but each level gets more difficult. If the person allows the sin to get to possession, it will take someone else to work their deliverance, and that is IF they can find someone who knows how and who will. The enemy will not give up his victims easily and it is usually a pretty distasteful battle.

And then there are some who just do not really want to give their heart to God. Why? I do not know, God is so good. They can get deliverance, but these are the ones whom the enemy comes back seven times stronger and dwells, because the person does not welcome and make home the Holy Spirit in their lives. This is why our witness of God's love is so important -- to make people want their deliverances.

Some do want deliverance, but have opened a door in their lives, or a door was forced upon them against their will, and the struggle is intense. This is where discerning of spirits is vital. Just playing around can many times only make things worse. But God will bring deliverance to those who cry out. If the struggle is intense, it only makes the person stronger, and the glory of God in that person becomes great. Some afflictions are for the glory of God. They come from the evil one, but God has faith in the person that the evil can be overcome, IF we will do what we are supposed to do.

The enemy hates the Christian, anhilates them if he can, and then destroys his own. He has no regard even for his own workers, which makes them real fools. We just have to know God is real no matter how hard the hit or attack. If a person has Jesus in their heart, that righteous Seed of Him is in them and that Seed can overcome the world, the flesh and the devil.

I often say that dealing with some spirits is like being around a heater. The closer you get to it, the more you feel the sensation of the heat, you get warm and then hotter and hotter the closer you get, and you can get burned!

If it's a demon spirit, you can feel the anger, rage, lust, unjust spirit of whatever kind, defilement, scorn, mockery, hatred, disrespect, jealousy, lying, and the list can go on and on. The closer you get to that evil spirit, the more you feel those feelings because of its presence and sometimes you can think they are your own! As was shared, fascination can lead to oppression and control and more. When oppressed, the best thing you can do, if at all possible, is to get away from the oppression into a place of praise and worship.

If that Seed of righteousness is in you, and I am speaking of Jesus, then those spirits do not belong to you but they will war for you. You have to get into the plan and Spirit of God to get deliverance. It takes every part of the Body to work it for the whole Body. This is why assemblying together is important for the Body. We belong to one another and survive by what every joint (part) supplies. All are needed and necessary.

Sometimes you go into the enemy's territory, sometimes the enemy is coming to you in the warfare. (No one really wants to hear that, but you can see it on a big scale in world events.) If people really take territory for God, they can rally when the enemy comes in or go on offense. But only when true justice is there will God's Presence be present. It's so obvious the hedges are coming down in America where there was once a much greater stronghold for the Lord. When ministers lie for the Lord and forsake His Presence, the hedges come down. Just because people sing, shout, dance and make noise, does not mean they honor His Presence. He looks at the heart and for the fulfillment of the First Commandment.

Little demons are easy to run off. The bigger ones are a challenge and can need Godly agreement to overcome, and the really big ones need the high strategy plan(s) of God. When you are dealing with witchcraft and false gods of worship, then you really do need agreement. Some negative prophecies are only the plans and strategies of the enemy. We must be so careful and cautious, but not fearful. Love casts out fear, so we must KNOW the Giver of Life! When people "prophesy" that God is cursing, it may not be God but a false word. God spoke by prophets in times past, but in these days He speaks by His Son. He has called a five fold ministry which includes prophets, but they should reflect all the grace of Jesus, not an exalted position for themselves.

When the Body of Christ really comes together, our power will be awesome. Our unity in purity will display His Glory.

What people don't realize is that when God lifts His Presence, as He did in this dream, we come into a place without God and evil triumphs. You can feel different spirits in different territories where God is honored or not honored. When we do not honor God, when we insult and offend Him, individuals or types of groups of people in unity, then the hedges come down and the evil has free reign.

The only way to lift the hedge back up is to honor God once again. It is not just going to an area and cleaning out what happened years and years ago. There is some validity to that because of generational curses, strongholds that are passed down by familiar spirits, but salvation is TODAY. It is lifting up the Name and Presence of Jesus today! If there are any evil spirits, they will usually manifest and leave, especially if commanded. The enemy hates the Spirit of God and be not deceived, God's Spirit forever will be greater than the evil one just as light overcomes darkness, but there are intensities of spirits. God is looking at the people who are there TODAY, for it is appointed unto man ONCE to die and then after that, the judgment. It's YOUR heart that God is looking at. He is not asking your advice in His Final Judgment. But He does obviously see all that is involved. Know that He is fair and good.

Not only do we need the armour of the Spirit, but we also need to know our Spiritual weapons. The enemy has spiritual weapons, whether we acknowledge it or not. This is what those in occultic witchcraft tap into. There is also manipulative witchcraft which can be organized for unity.

But God has a Book, His Word, which has the help we need, along with the imparted rhema (His current spoken proceeding Word) to Body of Christ, and who can, by the power and obedience to Him in unity in the faith, by the exponential power of agreement, overcome many many odds against us, and ultimately, all of them, as we give our full allegiance to the Son of the Living God, Jesus, God's Son, the Christ, who came in the flesh, who died on a Cross for the remission of our sins and rose again with power over death, hell and the grave by the power of His Holy Spirit.

He did all this for you. Because He lives, we will also.

Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither. The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband: For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly. The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.

Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?

The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?Then they went out of the city, and came unto him. . . . And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did. So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days. And many more believed because of his own word; And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

This is a very scary - to me - email letter. When I receive hard or unusual prophecies from the Lord, it is one thing to tell Gary and a few close friends, quite another to share it with a broader audience. But here goes. . . I awoke this morning from a dream in which I was a guest speaker at some event. When I got up to speak, I was totally blank. I couldn’t speak; my notes made no sense; someone either gave a word of prophecy or just wanted to get their two-cents in before I spoke but I was so blank I couldn’t focus on what they were saying and it literally sounded like they were saying, “blah, blah, blah, blah.” I motioned for the pastor and went to the side of the stage to ask him to pray for me. Even after he prayed and I came against a mind-blinding spirit, I was still blank.

It was so disconcerting that I woke up. Getting up I determined to spend time with the Lord and get the interpretation. But I was literally moving in the same kind of fog that I was in the dream. While preparing coffee, I emptied my dishwasher and cleaned up dirty dishes still in the sink. Then, taking the coffee, I sat down in my “prayer chair” but noticed that I’d neglected to water my plants. So, still in a fog, I got up and did so before sitting down to spend time with the Lord. Immediately the fog lifted when He showed me that during the coming crises, what I’d just experienced is how it would be for people. We won’t be able to think or reason. We’ll only be able to go through the motions of what we know to do. And He impressed on me that this is why we need to prepare for such a time - physically and spiritually - because what comes “naturally” is what we’ll do. Then He gave me the following word which I wrote down as He dictated it.

The crises coming to America will be short-lived but it will be such a shock that it will cause massive panic and massive change. Panic for those who aren’t prepared - even if they know Me. America is currently like an unkempt swimming pool in the winter - green, putrid and nasty. But when you shock it and shock it hard, it becomes crystal clear and safe to swim in. To get through the crises you will need your stored food and other supplies. That’s why I’m giving you this message about preparation. You must wake the sleeple up. Type the three messages up and send them out. The time is now to prepare. Do not delay. Tell the people, “do not delay.”

FYI - “Sleeple” is a new term being used in intercessory prayer circles for God’s people who are asleep as to what is going on in the world.

As you know, Gary and I are teaching on disaster preparation these days. We’ll be doing a 9:00 - 4:00 seminar tomorrow and have been invited to teach it in two other places within the next month. We’re open to more because we feel it is so urgent. So this subject has been very much on my heart. The other two words God was referring to are given below with the dates I received them. They have since been confirmed by other ministries and prophets. But of course, the proof is in the pudding so to speak. Time will tell for we know in part and we prophecy in part.

When you read the May 1st word you’ll see that He called it a “tipping point.” What happened that day? It was the National Day of Prayer when much prayer was going up all over the nation for the nation. Besides all kinds of prayer gatherings on the ground that day, pilots were flying intercessors over all the major cities to pray over the atmosphere. In Washington, DC, Shirley Dobson led in “rebuilding” the nation by reading before God, the preambles of all the state constitutions, all of which give credit and allegiance to God.

Re: Presidential elections: These elections will be unlike any that have ever taken place. Great upheaval. Great change. The Annanias and Sapphira fear of the Lord is about to fall. Watch and see; watch and see. This is the time when I will honor the prayers of the saints all at once. It will be a time when My people, whom I have prepared, will be able to step up and step in. Large sums of money will not be required. David was a poor shepherd boy and I made him King. Signs and wonders in personnel, in who will be placed where. I am sending out My angels to do My work. Even the death angel. The deeds and the misdeeds will catch up with people. Especially those who desire to lead. Fathers, mothers, teachers, professors, business leaders, politicians and statesmen. Watch and see who I honor and who I dishonor this year. Hillary Clinton will not become President. As she has sown, so she will reap. Neither will Obama. His agenda will come to light and will strike terror in the heart of his supporters and the Democratic Party. Many will be crushed when they realize how deceived they’ve become. Pray for My people to step in and minister truth instead of gloating.

Big change beginning today. The house of cards is falling. Shift of power. People aghast. The downfall of many. Promises come true. Today will be the tipping point. It is now time for My agenda. A silent revolution will happen. No violence - even with words. Reporters shocked but delighted. Editors caught. Gears shifting. Hope deferred no longer for those who have been crying out to Me. By fall the shock of it all will start the harvest. The time is now. No more business as usual.

The Judgment of Esau

God is getting ready to fulfill the vision of Obadiah. In his short prophecy in the Bible, Obadiah speaks of God in His final dealings with Esau, Edom, and his descendants. This same end time judgment is repeated even more emphatically by the prophet Malachi, where he writes:

“…yet I loved Jacob…and I hated Esau.” (Malachi 1:2b-3a)

Most of us do not have a Biblical view of history at all. We watch the news and believe what they tell us, for the most part. We are being fed propaganda concerning the Middle East and Israel that tries desperately to demonize Israel in every way it can. It has now become “politically correct” to call the Jews and the nation of Israel “racist” with the majority of nations of the earth in total agreement. There was a recent conference in Switzerland that featured Iran’s fanatic leader in a speech calling for the total destruction of Israel. The scary thing was that this statement was met with long and enthusiastic applause. This wasn’t in the Middle East, but in “neutral” and “Christian” Switzerland. Have the nations gone mad? The answer is, “Yes, they have.”

The Biblical prophets are all quite clear and consistent in stating that whoever comes against the restored nation of Israel and the city of Jerusalem in the last days will be swiftly and mightily judged by God Himself. In fact, to underscore this, God states His Name in many of these prophecies as, “The LORD of Hosts” or the “LORD of Heaven’s armies”. As commander-in-chief of the heavenly, warring, armies of angels, God is declaring that He is going to war against all the nations that try to “divide His land” and “destroy His people”. The Lord is totally identified with the land He gave to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as well as with their descendants.

These particular judgments are progressive and geographic in nature focusing on the Middle East of our time. But then they rapidly expand into a global outpouring of God’s wrath upon ALL the nations that have rejected Him. Obadiah writes:

“Shall I not in that day, saith the LORD, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau? And thy mighty men, O Teman, shall be dismayed, to the end that every one of the mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter. For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever…For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee; thy reward shall return upon thine own head…But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.

AND THE HOUSE OF JACOB SHALL BE A FIRE, AND THE HOUSE OF JOSEPH A FLAME, AND THE HOUSE OF ESAU FOR STUBBLE, AND THEY SHALL KINDLE IN THEM, AND DEVOUR THEM; AND THERE SHALL NOT BE ANY REMAINING OF THE HOUSE OF ESAU; FOR THE LORD HATH SPOKEN IT.” (Obadiah vs. 8-10,15,17-18)

Obadiah is echoed in many other passages in the Bible prophets. Who and what is Esau? Well, Esau was the half-brother of Jacob in the book of Genesis. The Bible says that he despised both his birthright as the firstborn and his blessing. God states very clearly that he chose Jacob and NOT Esau, because Esau did not choose to honor or follow God.

The descendants of Esau are the Arab nations of today. They are surrounding Israel on every side but the sea. Now, please understand that when God is speaking of judging nations, He is not talking about every individual in those nations. There is always a remnant in every nation that the Lord has preserved as His own. If you study the prophets, you will discover that the Lord gives quite a few prophecies of the final outcome of the nations and ancient people groups that directly surround Israel. These include Esau, Edom, Moab, Persia (Iran), Babylon (Iraq), Philistia, Teman, Dedan (Saudi Arabia), and Egypt, among others. In fact, the Bible precisely identifies them and predicts the present day powder-keg in the Middle East with 100% accuracy.

The LORD says,

“I am about to judge the Arab nations that have boasted against My land and My people. I will do to them exactly as they have desired to do to Jacob. The nations surrounding Israel will be destroyed by fire.

As they have shouted “death to Israel and America”, so shall their words of hatred and murder be released upon them. As they have vowed to wipe Israel “off the map”, so shall I wipe them off the map of nations, never to be rebuilt again.

As they have lusted for the weapons of nuclear fire to destroy My land, so shall I visit upon them the very same weapons.

I will destroy all the nations surrounding Israel by fire. Their hatred and their works have come up before My throne. As they have terrorized My land and My people, so shall they be visited with eternal terror. They shall perish and never be remembered again.”

This is the Word that came today concerning the upcoming war in the Middle East.
