Oh goodness... que the violins. The Mormons get persecuted like the Jews were? That's odd. I don't see any of them being forced to wear a symbol like a yellow star to identify them, or being relocated into inner city ghettos as the next step before the concentration camps.

How can Romney claim bigotry, when we elected a Kenyan born Muslim instead? Because we didn't elect HIM.

this is a stupid article written by a child like intellect.
Not sure what the point is except to broadly goad guilt out someone for believing in a concept that is rooted in humanity and religion, not an ideology.
If this writer has a problem with Mormons he should say so and not try to pretend he owns an intellect greater than a shallow bowl.

This article is so poorly written that it should be accompanied by a couple of aspirin for the unfortunate reader who misguidedly attempts to continue reading after encountering the first paragraph.

Oh, see there, and I thought it was just me.
The writer is a lame and inchoherent tard.

It was suggested that being anti-Mormon is the new politically correct anti-semitism given what happened to Romney in Dixie. Nah...
It was ANTI-RINOism at work. if it was the OTHER thing; it would be spelled:
anti-MormonISM.

It's that weird thing about wedding yourself to a brand of religious freedom which is translated as meaning freedom to believe as the Evangelicals believe that gets in the way.
LDS pols analyzing the problem and participating in open discussion will help the Republican party. Scratch Romney off the list of POTUS candidates.
Gingrich, Palin, Steele... who else?

mormonism is akin to Judaism ????
That’s a streach...
To: delacoert
(it's amazing that nobody seems to ever remember Harry Reid's religious persuasion)I found it:
Reid graduated from Basic High School in 1957, and earned an associate of arts degree from Southern Utah State College in 1959. That year, he married his high school sweetheart. She was Jewish and Reid was unchurched, but shortly after their marriage, both joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In 1960 and 1961, the first of their five children were born.

I don’t know about you, but most conservatives I know voted for Sarah Palin and not the baggage at the top of the ticket. Just an educated guess that the conservatives in Mormon country were no different.

Ok....
First, I was called a racist because I expect the law to be enforced (Illegals).
Then, I was called a racist because I refused to vote for a Communist (Zero).
I am called a bigot because I believe that God intended marriage to be between ONE man and ONE woman.
In the past month or so, back on FR, I have been called a liar almost daily for posting LDS beliefs and my experiences and for witnessing of the Christ of the BIBLE.
NOW I equated with anti-Semites because I don’t like Romney and speak the truth about his religion?!?
WTH???
FWIW, I don’t LIKE Romney because he is not a conservative. I don’t TRUST Romney because he is LDS. I know too much about it.
