50 Reasons Why We Are Living In The End Times: Part 1
Lamb and Lion Ministries Blog ^ | 13 JULY 2009 | Dr. David R. Reagan

Posted on 07/25/2009 2:40:04 AM PDT by Quix

The Bible says we cannot know the time of the Lord's return (Matthew 25:13). But the Scriptures make it equally clear that we can know the season of the Lord's return (1 Thessalonians 5:2-6):

"You yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night... But you brethren, are not in darkness, that the day should overtake you like a thief; for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night or darkness; so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober."

This passage asserts that Jesus is coming like "a thief in the night." But then it proceeds to make it clear that this will be true only for the pagan world and not for believers. His return should be no surprise to those who know Him and His Word, for they have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to give them understanding of the nature of the times.

Furthermore, the Scriptures give us signs to watch for — signs that will signal that Jesus is ready to return. The writer of the Hebrew letter referred to these signs when he proclaimed that believers should encourage one another when they see the day of judgment drawing near (Hebrews 10:25-27). Jesus also referred to the end time signs in His Olivet Discourse, given during the last week of His life (Matthew 24 and Luke 21). Speaking of a whole series of signs which He had given to His disciples, He said, "When you see all these things, recognize that He [the Son of Man — that is, Jesus] is near, right at the door" (Matthew 24:33).

A Personal Experience

Every time I think of "Signs of the Times," I am reminded of a great man of God named Elbert Peak. I had the privilege of participating with him in a Bible prophecy conference held in Orlando, Florida in the early 1990's. Mr. Peak was about 80 years old at the time.

He had been assigned the topic, "The Signs of the Times." He began his presentation by observing, "Sixty years ago when I first started preaching, you had to scratch around like a chicken to find one sign of the Lord's soon return."

He paused for a moment, and then added, "But today there are so many signs I'm no longer looking for them. Instead, I'm listening for a sound — the sound of a trumpet!"

The First Sign

One hundred years ago in 1907 there was not one single, tangible, measurable sign that indicated we were living in the season of the Lord's return. The first to appear was the Balfour Declaration which was issued by the British government on November 2, 1917.

This Declaration was prompted by the fact that during World War I the Turks sided with the Germans. Thus, when Germany lost the war, so did the Turks, and the victorious Allies decided to divide up both the German and Turkish empires.

The Turkish territories, called the Ottoman Empire, contained the ancient homeland of the Jewish people — an area the Romans had named Palestine after the last Jewish revolt in 132-135 AD.

In 1917 Palestine included all of modern day Israel and Jordan. In the scheme the Allies concocted for dividing up the German and Turkish territories, Britain was allotted Palestine, and this is what prompted the Balfour Declaration. In that document, Lord Balfour, the British Foreign Secretary, declared that it was the intention of the British government to establish in Palestine "a national home for the Jewish people."

The leading Evangelical in England at the time was F. B. Meyer. He immediately recognized the prophetic significance of the Declaration, for he was well aware that the Scriptures prophesy that the Jewish people will be regathered to their homeland in unbelief right before the return of the Messiah (Isaiah 11:11-12).

Meyer sent out a letter to the Evangelical leaders of England asking them to gather in London in December to discuss the prophetic implications of the Balfour Declaration. In that letter, he stated, "The signs of the times point toward the close of the time of the Gentiles... and the return of Jesus can be expected any moment."

Before Meyer's meeting could be convened, another momentous event occurred. On December 11, 1917 General Edmund Allenby liberated the city of Jerusalem from 400 years of Turkish rule.

There is no doubt that these events in 1917 marked the beginning of the end times because they led to the worldwide regathering of the Jewish people to their homeland and the reestablishment of their state.

Since 1917

Since the time of the Balfour Declaration, we have witnessed throughout the 20th Century the appearance of sign after sign pointing to the Lord's soon return. There are so many of these signs today, in fact, that one would have to be either biblically illiterate or spiritually blind not to realize that we are living on borrowed time.

I have personally been searching the Bible for years in an effort to identify all the signs, and it has not been an easy task to get a hold on them. That's because there are so many of them, both in the Old and New Testaments.

I have found that the best way to deal with them is to put them in categories, and in doing that, I have come up with six categories of end time signs. We will explore these catetories beginning in Part 2 of this series.

Such cute but silly redundancy from the empty, hollow perspective.

The only sound argument a reformed believer has in not accepting the eschatology of dispensationalists, is to insist upon a spiritual interpretation of prophecy and reject the literal interpretation and in the process ignore discernible distinctions between Israel and the Church.

Dispensationalism well recognized nobody knows the time or the hour, so any charlatan claiming dispensationalism is date setting, fails to remain even intellectually honest when speaking of the doctrinal studies presented by dispensational believers.

It is interesting to see how so many persons claim to be believers in the Reformed theology who place Calvin as the Pope of Geneva, but fail to place the Word of God prior to that of their worshiped theologians.

The popularity of dispensationalism owes much to the biblical illiteracy of the folks in the pew. It is not really a thinking man's eschatology.

Obviously such a premise is stated by somebody lacking in theological wherewithal to recognize the work at Dallas Theological Seminary for several decades before progressive dispensationalism slithered into its midst ushered in by Reformed backsliden believers.

All of the dispensational leaning pastors I've observed prefer to only teach from Greek and Hebrew, and consider anything less than 3-7 years study in each language respectively to be a sophmoric introduction to the study.

But even with such dedication, the simple truth is that by remaining in fellowship with God through faith in Christ, all of our understanding and sanctification comes through faith alone in Him alone.

There’s a lot of questionable stuff related to the WEB BOT PREDICTION stuff in terms of what the originators say about it.

Regardless, the software does seem to predict things with surprising accuracy.

Therefore, FWIW . . .

21 July 2009

WEB BOT PREDICTIONS FROM C2C SHOW . . .

WEB-BOT PREDICTIONS FROM COAST TO COAST

WEB-BOT PREDICTIONS FROM COAST TO COAST
I think the WEB BOTS software produces some interesting things . . . whether part of it is by demonic forces or whatever . . . , I don’t know. It is an interesting collection of puzzle pieces.
NOTE: MY TRANSCRIPT IS VERY PARTIAL AND OFTEN MY OWN PARAPHRASE.
George Ure & ‘Clif’ discussed their web bot technology which has continued to give archetype descriptors of future events. Their method captures changes in language patterns within Internet forums. This aggregated data is then processed with software to determine various keywords, which they interpret in a predictive fashion. They foresee a number of negative cycles/events converging over the next few years:
• A big crisis is kicked off on October 25, 2009. It could be that Israel bombs Iran, or that Swine Flu goes into a level of extreme lethality. 10 days later, in relation to this crisis, the Obama administration will be thrown into chaos.

• When Israel bombs Iran, they’ll use a nuclear-tipped bunker buster that will hit something unforeseen underground. As a result, a radioactive cloud will form that will pollute and sicken Southeast Asia. This will cause much of the world to turn against Israel.

• The “Death of the Dollar” will be a continuing trend, with a hyper inflationary period in 2010, and banking crises/confidence losses that will begin in August 2009 and escalate by November 2009.

• “Global Coastal Phenomena” will be gradual, yet by March/April 2011 the situation could be disturbing for many people. Unusual movements of the Moon brought on by anomalies in the magnetosphere could cause coastal disruptions.

• The magnetosphere problems could lead to ultraviolet scorching of food crops. Grain crops will fail, mainly in the Northern Hemisphere, leading to food riots in the winter of 2010/spring of 2011. Specifically, they’ll be riots in Rome that will spill over into the Vatican.

• In South America, they’ll be large or mass sightings of UFO-related phenomena. In the summer of 2010, a video crew will interview an escapee from an internment facility. The young bald man will later be revealed to be a “non-Terran” human.
= = = = =
AGAIN: NOTE: MY TRANSCRIPT IS VERY PARTIAL AND OFTEN MY OWN PARAPHRASE.

= = = =
The essence of the tech . . . back in 1997 . . . looking at future dev of stock prices as related to discussions on the internet of various companies . . . as it evolved . . . it started showing indications of predicting future events . . .

2001 . . . June . . . within 6 months . . . would experience a tipping point that would involve military and restrictions on travel etc.

How are you picking this out . . .

‘we operate on the [assumption] that everyone is psychic a bit . . . and when you are talking about bread pudding . . . you choose some words over others . . . . the spiders follow the keywords out a certain distance . . . and collect the words around the keywords . . .

You were predicting months and years ago about an economic calamity . . . you were right on . . . what were you picking up? What kinds of things did the software pickup.

We work at the level of archetypes . . . fear, frightened, afraid . . . we start at the top and drill down . . . fear and economic security, wealth, personal security . . . why are all these words around fear related to economics . . with emotional values . . .

. . . And we’ve missed it before in terms of specific locations . . . I was in the Burbank area . . . 2005/2006 Oct . . . we were expecting a quake in the SW of some magnitude . . . turns out it was in Pakistan . . . we were correct in terms of numbers of people killed, displaced and the latitude . . . but it was in Pakistan, instead.

GN: Do you make the prediction or does the software make the prediction . . . it’s probably the universe getting my attention . . . then we drill down and find out what’s going on. Sometimes it’s not worth drilling down but other times it’s quite interesting/significant . . .

What kind of verbage do you pick up . . . what we saw then was the terrorism wording . . . we got terrorism right off and that drew our eyes there . . . and then we saw that it started going into power outage, river, railroads, South . . . when we have that kind of level of detail show up at our tertiary level . . . we take it very seriously . . . often the wording is related to the wording used after the event—which was a lot of folks were speculating that it had to do with terrorists.

‘Clif’ does the work.
George has provided some interesting theorems and postulates . . . that tend to prove true . . .

Basically, the longer the archetypes are there, the more significant the event . . . a city driven back to the mud from which it was built turned out to be New Orleans.

We’ve been seeing things talk about the death of the dollar since 2003 . . . 2010, 2011 . . . gold and silver prices off the scale . . .

IT’s not like the other agencies who care about who says what to whom.

First 3 months of next year will have all the emotional intensity of prior 7-8 years.

We do appear to see waves of increasing pressure . . .

Some people evidently will be walking along and then freeze-up.

As tough as anyone has ever seen—people will make monuments to this time . . .
Heretofore has not even been the warmup for what’s just ahead.

Cultural icons passing . . . a temporal marker . . . waiting for some sort of super yacht that gets involved in some sort of Mary Celeste sort of incident.

We have a hard time separating events on the ocean vs in space because the linguistics are so similar.
‘The American empire is rotting out from the middle.’ Some parts of the world will not have so far to fall. There may be parts of So America . . . why are some former Presidents owning land in Paraguay?

Parts of Siberia will flourish.
‘the rush to vaccinate against a non-lethal man-made disease’

The powers that be have on their plate an agenda the destruction of a large portion of the population.

We only go out to about 18 months . . . . when I first sat down to assign numerical weights to emotional words . . . that’s more effective in more immediate language use—our language tends to cluster more to the immediate.

GN: Do some areas of the net prove more fruitful?

No. but some languages do . . . Russian, for example.

Right . . . all the negative emotions . . .

George’s

http://www.Urbansurvival.com

Cliff’s:

http://www.halfpasthuman.com

George: about 22 of Aug the economy will . . . something that started about mid Jul will surface . . . mid Sept . . . a lock down, a bank holiday . . . things continue to decline during Oct until 25th when it’s either we’re bombing Iran or mandatory vaccinations sets up a tremendous level of stress and Obama Adm would be in very defensive position by 1 week of Nov.

NK is going to pop up with a crazy something with a big ego something around 5 Nov . . . troubling us up thru March.

We don’t know if it’s set or a probability.
It’s like IF THIS, THEN THAT

If the Israeli’s attack, the language will be fulfilled in this way . . . if they don’t, then the language would be fulfilled by some other event such as the flu mutating etc.

Around Oct 25, IF Israel bombs Iran, one possibility is that we get a cloud of radioactive dust that circles the planet nine times and we get a lot of deaths from that. . . . which would fill the language “ill winds.”

It could also be a virulent strain of the flu.

From the same part of the model that predicted 300,000 dead from the Banda Ache Tsunami/quake, we’re getting very horrific numbers of deaths in the near future.

The Illuminati appear to have set off a couple of threads months ago toward destroying a big chunk of the planet’s population.

Going to go into a period of fascistic thought . . . bloodline control structures/ families 500 years old . . .

The impetus toward revolution looks like it will turn violent . . .

Food in short supply by mid to late 2010.

A cadre of young people will be going out and salvaging homes and strip malls that are abandoned.

Will be a large mass sighting in So America.

There’s also some language talking about alien [ET] UFO wars.

Alien wars . . . beginning this year, we predicted we’d start seeing an uptick in war and alien stuff . . . growth in contact theme starts to merge . . .

We can’t tell necessarily whether we’ll be fighting aliens or observing aliens fighting each other . . . so pervasive that it will be a common part of the daily society’s discussions such as the bombing of Britain did with the British.

First we’ll go thru the political disease and the new war problems beginning this fall . . .

Contact is not significant until 2010 . . .

Sometime in the chaos of next summer . . . refugees shifting around, fleeing around . . . some video crew out and about interviewing . . . will interview someone recently escaped from internment . . . not in the US . . . is a non-terran human . . . will capture on video that this is not a terran human that they won’t notice at the moment but will see later on the video. The fellow should be young and bald . . . looks like an old wise man.

GN: You talk about American refugees up to 200 million fleeing to Canada.

10’s of millions even 100’s of millions of refugees fleeing north . . . looking for something that would fit that, be responsible for that . . . our detail may be wrong but the archetype accurate. Fear is going to drive people.

Going to be a giant food crisis.

Radioactive eruption . . . vis a vis Iran may via the jet stream cause folks to flee north.

A lot of people going to vegan diets.

The farming of animals will be effected . . . contamination radioactively or virally.

It appears that this is part of the PTB control mechanism that they are trying to implement.

This issue of the dollar dying . . . we don’t produce anything . . . .Nov 4th this year to Nov 7th 2010

GN: Does it concern you that the government is not trying to fix any of this.

Government never fixes anything. All they can do is legislate and spend money. Neither of which they do wisely.

They will only make it worse.

Hyper inflation this fall.

THEY won’t get things back in order. We’ll have to fix it. It will be all of us together from 2013 on.

Inventors all round the planet but not the USA.

DEATH OF THE DOLLAR—IT HURTS A LOT—WILL HURT A LOT.

What happens when the dollar gets revalued externally—will take more dollars to buy . . . such as to buy oil.

Hyper inflationary period next year. $14 /oz silver $600 to buy an oz next year.

We’re trying to figure out how to get our loved ones thru—not by investing in paper.

Farm animals, solar panels, tractor, good walking shoes, . . .

Will the powers that be try and remove the smart folks to have dumb serfs or all the serfs so not have to feed them.

People that have dollars have to realize that those dollars are losing value . . . over a year’s time . . . it’s use as an international currency will end.

Being associated with bankers, banking class etc. will be a liability. It gets very grisly.

The rage levels that will be coming out will be incredible.

Government start dropping off services.

Sub-contractors will start coming out revealing secrets . . . a base level of rage will increase dramatically.

If you exhibit conspicuous consumption of any kind . . . the mob of villagers with pitchforks . . . will turn on you.

Getting thru it is what matters.

Global coastal event . . .

Ultraviolet zapping of food plants particularly below 40th parallel . . . primarily in Northern Hemisphere . . .

Riots spill over . . . in Rome and they fight back at the Vatican and it gets worse and the Vatican will be raided/looted.

About a billion dead from either food crisis, radioactivity, flu or some combo thereof.

Availability of electricity and internet . . . time frame?

A lot seems to occur after July 2010

It appears that it will be spotty . . . big chunks of it may not be reachable in any given week.

Both cliff and I have made serious investments in solar panels.

Have multiple routes to the net.

2013 onward good for Canada . . . and So Africa will be sharing limelight re new electrics . . .with Russia

The next 4-5 years . . . anyone’s guess.

New electrics is a new tech coming along that will not be controlled by the powers that be and is widely acknowledged outside the USA internationally but not the US. Canada also has some natural crystals that will be a prized resource.

The Israeli’s fly a number of jets fly over and about half of them don’t make it because they don’t expect something that the Iranians have . . . they it something that they’re not aware of that starts a radioactive volcanic something that pollutes SE Asia . . . 25th of Oct . . . won’t be any significant retaliation until 4-5th of Nov . . . Russia and China will demand that USA not do anything else Russia and China will destroy our military . . .

We might miss a war but probably barely.

NO organized government disclosure of UFO’s

Food riot in Maryland . . . a government installation is looted resulting in lots of government secrets being found out.

Next couple to 3 years . . . will get proof there’s non-terran humans, aliens, . . . .unrevealed ancient history . . .

Oct 25th either Israel or flu turns lethal . . . OThuga admin runs around like a chicken chased by a dog.

The disappearances we’re talking about is that the POWERS THAT BE start disappearing and some of their killers start disappearing . . . and body guards start disappearing . . . between one step and the next, the individual just disappears . . . from one step left in the dew marks . . . suddenly individual guard disappears . . . individuals start winking out of existence . . . like stumbling into a . . . time thing or something weird . . .

Well put.

Thx.

Of course, if folks believe that

virtually all Biblical END TIMES prophecies were fulfilled in 70 A.D.

they’ll believe that the Easter Bunny landed first on the moon;

that OThga is a sheep in wolf’s clothing;

that The Mark of the Beast is a cheap tattoo gone bad;

that The Biblical Two Witnesses to die in Jerusalem during the Great Tribulation will be two McDonald’s customers witnessing a drive by shooting by Palestinian patriots;

and who knows what other crazy irrational trash.

I wonder how they can read Scripture in any translation and sleep nights knowing how much they’ve mangled it between their ears.

Oh, right, Denial is so convenient.

I can name the heretic religions that share, and base their theology on, the eschatology and theological systematic espoused in this article. Can you name one that bases their eschatology and theological systematic on, say, amillenialism?*

Obviously such a premise is stated by somebody lacking in theological wherewithal to recognize …

Given the trivial commentary by dispensationalists in this and other related threads, such a comment is laughable.

All of the dispensational leaning pastors I've observed prefer to only teach from Greek and Hebrew

I recall Hal Lindsey was quick to tout his abilities in Greek to “rightly divide” the Bible along dispensational lines. It was that very knowledge of Greek that supposedly led him to conclude Jesus was returning in the rapture in 1981.

It was also Hymenaeus and Alexander, well versed in Greek, who denied the orthodox view of Christ’s second coming (not unlike most dispensationalists today) and was condemned by the apostle Paul.

The hallmark doctrine of dispensationalism, the secret pre-trib rapture, is not plainly or literally taught in the Hebrew or Greek of Scripture. So much for claim that the language skills of dispensationalists are superior to all others. How could they arrive at an erroneous doctrine such as this?

The point is that folks in dispensational pews are largely ignorant of the Bible in any systematic fashion, preferring to believe the wild exaggerations of their teachers. It is an eschatology that feeds on the ignorance of those being taught. That why folks can get by writing nonsensical tales like “50 Reasons Why We Are Living In The End Times”. It only makes sense to those who have drunk deeply from the dispensational kool aid.

A “literal” hermeneutic, if consistent, forces the dispensational interpreter into a hopeless dilemma. On the one hand, the New Testament is clear: no more animal sacrifices. On the other hand, a “literal” interpretation of Ezekiel 40-48 is clear: animal sacrifices will be reinstituted in the Millennium. What must be done to resolve the dilemma?

Weasel out of it! Even dispensationalists recognize the heresy of arguing for the reinstitution of Levitical animal sacrifices. To solve the problem, they argue that the sacrifices in Ezekiel 40-48 are “memorial” sacrifices, in the same way the Lord’s Supper is a memorial. These sacrifices will not be propitiatory or in any way an atonement.

There’s just one slight problem: the text won’t allow it. Ezekiel 45:17 reads: “Then it shall be the prince’s part to give burnt offerings, grain offerings, and drink offerings, at the feasts, the New Moons, the Sabbaths, and at all the appointed seasons of the house of Israel. He shall prepare the sin offering, the grain offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offerings to make atonement for the house of Israel” (emphasis mine). The sacrifices are meant “to make atonement. ” Literally, the Hebrew reads “to cover, propitiate.” Similarly in verse 20 Ezekiel writes, “And so you shall do on the seventh day of the month for everyone who has sinned unintentionally or in ignorance. Thus you shall make atonement for the temple” (emphasis mine). Once more, the same Hebrew word appears.

DISPENSATIONALISM’S HERMENEUTIC: “LITERAL, EXCEPT WHEN EMBARRASSING”

What do your dispenational Greek and Hebrew scholars do with that? Weasel out of it? Twist the Greek and Hebrew? Cover up? Hope the unwashed masses in the pew won't notice their error? Sell another book to change the subject?

I've known for some time that

REPLACEMENTARIANS, a-mils, preterists, post-mils et al

seem to have virtually a genetic incapacity &/or unwillingness

to TRUST GOD

. . . particularly to TRUST THAT GOD CAN

AND WILL

PERFORM HIS WORD PRECISELY AS HE WROTE IT.

I personally believe it's because so many of them keep pretending that they have successfully packaged God away into their tiny preconceived little boxes.

Thankfully, The God of the UNRUBBERIZED BIBLE

is FAR toooooooo BIG for that.

Their disbelief won't hinder GOD ALMIGHTY'S FULFILLMENT OF HIS WORD LITERALLY TO THE NTH DEGREE

in the slightest.

It is a puzzle and a mystery that EVIDENTLY even in the Millenium, there will be some sort of sacrifice even after Christ's sacrifice on The Cross has long been complete and full and fully efficacious.

However, it's God's Gig. I'm not about to

argue

with ALMIGHTY GOD.

I'll leave that to the REPLACEMENTARIANS.

This doc reminds me of the Gospels . . . where we read repeatedly

of the theologically educated elite of the day relentlessly postulating conundrums to Jesus in efforts to trap Him and render He and His truths

down several notches from

THEIR

PRESUMED, ASSUMED, ARROGANT

LOFTINESS.

It NEVER worked.

And though their scheming landed Him on The Cross—there, in a sense, He was loftier than ever.

And they were still far toooooooooo pridefully clueless to see AND UNDERSTAND.

I wonder what it is about educated-beyond-their-capacities haughty theological pontificators that renders them so blind.

Hal Lindsey, the consummate scammer within dispensaitonal circles, "completed the four year Master of Theology course at Dallas Theological Seminary with a major in New Testament Greek and a minor in Hebrew." ( Rapture Ready Who’s Who in Prophecy)

I was pleased to meet Hal one day when my boss at the Baptist counseling center invited me to a small church staff luncheon or some such. I think about 8-12 of us were there.

He was a lot more humble than I’d expected him to be.

He was Considerably more humble than a LOT of the REPLACEMENTARIANS et al I’ve run across.

He could share my fox-hole any day.

I wouldn’t want to have to trust a lot of REPLACEMENTARIANS to manage to make it in out of the rain.
