Witness the "all" of me
Bible and The Comforter | Scribe

Posted on 10/17/2009 4:39:18 PM PDT by Jedediah

A manifold witness I have placed in you ,

All that is faithful and true ,

A oneness of The Father and I in one breath ,

Can you imagine this depth ,

For what once rested upon me ,

Was the one and the three in complete harmony ,

And so it is even now My fullness with you ,

For as you witness me all 3 come through ~ ~ ~

John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

John 16:6-12 (King James Version)

6But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.

7Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

8And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

9Of sin, because they believe not on me;

10Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;

11Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

12I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

John 20:22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

1 Corinthians 4:18-21 (New King James Version) 18 Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you. 19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills, and I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power. 20 For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power. 21 What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?

I am in agreement with the word of God and it is dear to me “as Jesus” .

Oh, I hope the puppy is spared!

I find a LOT more of the Lord in animals than in self-appointed prophets.

Kitty Malcolm likes dog food.

I hope he is spared too.

When I say church I am talking about the true invisible church, the body of Christ, the bride of Christ, those that abide in the vine, those in the being mode, not the having or wanting mode, those who live in the now, those that are born again, beggars for grace, those that live by faith, those that are saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Those that want the truth, those that don’t put God in a box, not a pew sitter looking for fire insurance. Every Christian denomination has members in the invisible church, Weeds and wheat are both in the visible church.

Well, that was certainly an interesting OT passage you quoted to me about Moses and the false prophets. Let that be a warning to false prophets everywhere.

As for me, I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I’ve committed unto Him against that day.

It would be better for a false prophet to accept the ridicule of the people than the justice of God, for attempting to lead His people astray.

Good Dogs!

I asked Agamemnon if all dogs go to heaven and he gave me this wondeful answer:

Thank you so much for this post. It was fascinating. Next question..Do all dogs go to heaven?

Before I answer, please allow me first to revise and extend a statement I made in my last post, where my commentary leaves an incorrect impression as I stated it: "As such man has a responsibility and an accountability for his actions where animals have none."

Animals do if fact have an accountability to God for their existence as animals, even as Genesis 9:5 tells us, "And for your lifeblood I will surely demand and accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from each man, too, I will demand an accounting for the life of his fellow man."

An animal's accountability is different from that of man in that their accountability is not as sinners in need of a Savior, as is the case of man although they suffer as a result of man's sin. Adam and Eve partook of the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

No animal was recorded as having partaken of the forbidden fruit. Under the curse imposed by Adam's sin upon all of the creation, Paul tells us in Romans 8:22 "For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now." Animals suffer even as does man and the rest of creation.

If animals must give an account for their lives it is reasonable to conclude that there must be an afterlife of some sort which they experience wherein the animal communicates is account to its Maker.

The book of Revelation descibes white horses whose riders arrive from heaven: Revelation 19:11, "I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war." Revelation 19:14 "The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean." Revelation 19:4. Birds are mentioned also: "The twenty-four elders and the foul living creatures fell down and worshiped God, who was seated on the throne. And they cried: 'Amen, Hallelujah!'

I see horses mentioned. I see birds praising God. I do not see dogs mentioned. But then again, if horses, and birds, why not dogs also?

I have six golden retrievers myself. I have owned and cared for a total of ten so far. I believe that God has prepared a place for each one of them.

Maybe in that day He will get a confession out of the "malefactor" who helped themselves to my daughter's freshly prepared lemon squares as they sat on the kitchen counter....

I have to tell you that my nine-year-old saw that picture and realized that being in there would be HER heaven!

Doggies to love and leaves to jump in. What more could a girl want!

Also, those in the church are one with the Father Son and Holy Spirit, They can understand spiritual things. They have experienced the arms of Jesus. God is not their copilot , God is the pilot, they are the passengers. They are naked and vulnerable before God, there are no walls. And he walks with me and he talks with me and he tells me I am his own, and the voice I hear as we tarry there no other has ever known. Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, Just to take Him at His word; Just to rest upon His promise, Just to know, ‘Thus saith the Lord.’ O how sweet to trust in Jesus, Just to trust His cleansing blood: And in simple faith to plunge me ‘Neath the healing, cleansing flood! Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him! How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er! Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! O for grace to trust Him more!

. . . Since mind-reading is against the rules, which you never fail to remind everyone, all . . .

More bearing false witness.

That’s actually a compulsion of folks in the rabid Roman Catholic/Vatican camp . . . at least one of whom seems to have a truly obsessive addiction to using such a reminder with seemingly significant haughtiness and hostility—if the word choices, sequences and context are any clue.

Actually, I very rarely remind folks of such.

It’s nicer to leave the evidence lying there in the middle of the freeway all on its own.

What a gracious Sunday judgment.

Considering the perspective that seems to source such attitudes/constructions on reality . . .

I consider it an honor to be so labeled.

It is comforting that

none . . .

as in 0.000000000000000000000000000000000%

of the naysayers will have the least even flimsy example of a congruent explanation for what happened on that phone call.

Folks with a genuine experience, thankfully, need never be at the mercy of folks with merely an UNBIBLICAL, off the wall, hostile argument.

What are the interesting dates to watch out for between now and the end of November in terms of historical . . . uses . . . or ‘coincidences’ of the dark ones?

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh . . .

no guile.

That’s the stickler.

The no guile part is a real super difficult criteria to meaure up to.

Prove the phone call happened. Prove this "prophet" revealed ANYTHING.

How did this "prophet" get the number and WHY was a call made?

Were you asked for a credit card number?
