Apologies, although I’ll still call out the nothing-better-to-do Mormon-bashers for hiding behind the Religion Forum from deserved criticism.
I’ll change it to the “anti-Mormon sewing circle.” :-)
My challenge remains. Help the Haitans, rather than criticize the way that others help the Haitians.

Criticize or condemn or protest to your heart’s content, “open” Religion Forum threads are the appropriate venue to air greivances - just do not “make it personal” or provoke a flame war with potty language.
Because they were there with funds? Because the organizations that were in Haiti were seriously damaged in the quake? I don’t know why.
I ask, why not? Why not use all the help offered? Potentially 600,000 dead, now’s not the time for a litmus test. You don’t like the partnership. Fine, give elsewhere. But I will not condemn those who help.

Don't read my mind and assign a motive to me, Charles. The Salvation Army did NOT partner with the muslims.
Since the mormons have had an ongoing campaign and have been railing for several years now demanding they be called "Christians" I find it quite interesting that they would advertise the fact that they chose a muslim organization to "partner" with when as I posted, there are many Christian organizations they could have aided.

The Salvation Army has had a presence in Haiti since 1950 and currently operates schools, clinics, a hospital, feeding programs, children's homes and church-related activities spread across two major facilities in Port au Prince, close to the epicenter of the earthquake and at other locations in the country.
One of the facilities, or compounds as it is referred to, includes a home for more than 50 children; a school with a daily attendance of 1,500 children; a medical clinic caring for 150-200 people daily; and a church that on any typical Sunday welcomes nearly 1,000 people. The facility is less than 10 minutes from the National Palace and is in an area known as St. Martin that's home to predominantly poor living in the nation's capital.
According to reports from Salvation Army staff in Port au Prince, no one in the compound was injured during the earthquake, but the children's home, the clinic and church suffered major damage. Several smaller buildings, including residences, have collapsed completely. People were sleeping in the parking lot overnight, while severe aftershocks continued to affect the country.
The second compound that houses Salvation Army administrative offices is being used as an emergency operations center; damage was slight to this compound, according to Salvation Army reports from Haiti."

Now, post the similar facts regarding mormon presence in Haiti.
I’m not sure why FR is actually complaining about non-government-funded relief efforts now, except that it plays into the hatred some people have for muslims and mormons.
And, I'm not sure why some individuals would try to charge the entire FR site with "playing into the hatred some people have" over posts made by a handful of members. Take it up with the boss...I'm pinging him for you.
