Any such list that has Hal Lindsey as a “good apple” deserves to be laughed out of the room. Hal Lindsey is a fool and a charlatan.

Any such list that has Hal Lindsey as a good apple deserves to be laughed out of the room. Hal Lindsey is a fool and a charlatan.I agree with your assessment of Lindsey.
However, it should be remembered that Lindsey was personally a student of John Walvoord, the second president of the Dallas Theological Seminary who was the acknowledged dean of Dispensationalist theology until his death in 2002.
Lindsey is a popularizer, like the even more successful Tim LaHaye, but he is a mainstream proponent of DTS theology.
Lindsey is not on the Dispensationalist fringe, but is at the center of the movement.

I’ve heard of some of these of course. When I was young, I did thoroughly enjoy Herbert W. Armstrong’s show. He was very plain spoken and easy to follow. However he is rated, I know that he was a devoted Christian. I didn’t see Joel Osteen on the list and that’s a good thing.

Is this a list of modern day prophets or just people you agree with?

Lindsey is not on the Dispensationalist fringe, but is at the center of the movement. That's a very serious - and true - indictment of the Dispensationalist crowd as a whole. The man has proven himself to be a false prophet, yet people still take him seriously; I find that unbelievable.

At this point in time there is no such thing as a modern day prophet. The Bible says that there will be two prophets on the scene in the last days but as far as I know they’re not here yet. This is a list of who is preaching sound doctrine, who isn’t and who’s in between.

The list is 100% accurate.Wow, aren't you confident. Of course Hal Lindsey has been just as confident every time he's told us when Jesus was coming back, right up until he was proven wrong. Then he just ignored it and made his next confident prediction.
I guess that's the kind of confidence it takes to get a "good apple" rating on your website.

This is a list of who is preaching sound doctrine, who isnt and whos in between. No, it's a list of people you agree with (no matter how dishonest they may be) with "green apples" next to them and a list of others (no matter how well-reasoned their positions) with whom you have disagreements.

His guesses have been off but then again so have yours on one issue or the other from time to time. As far as the Scriptures are concerned he teaches sound doctrine and likewise preaches salvation through Christ and Christ alone. :-)
