Yeah I figure there ins’t much I can do to alter the Lord’s plan, nor do I think I am sufficiently blessed to have any special insight. Just be prepared and take what comes.
You’re walking by faith and not by sight just like you’re supposed to. You’re lamp is full of oil and He won’t shut the doors on you.
Matthew 25:1-13
1”At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
6”At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’
7”Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’
9” ‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’
10”But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.
11”Later the others also came. ‘Sir! Sir!’ they said. ‘Open the door for us!’
12”But he replied, ‘I tell you the truth, I don’t know you.’
13”Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

This depends on your eschatological position
Your position on the end times is not a test of orthodoxy or a statement on your salvation
(1) David Reagan believes that hell is NOT eternal.
He also wrote an article savagely attacking Jody Dillow’s book “Reign of the Servant Kings” - an excellent book on God’s grace and eternal security .
(2) the list editor seems to have little space or sympathy for a pre-wrath rapture or a mid or post-trib rapture. That’s about my only beef with the list, since I think the pretrib rapture position is mostly founded on a literalist premillennial view, whereas preterism is based on an allegorical prejudice which is often applied by an attitude of anti-Judaism .
I also don’t understand the preterist/reformed attitude of trying to prove a prophecy view based on it’s supposed lineage. It’s as bad as the Cathloics proving papal infallibility by an ancestral chart....
Premillennial dispensationalism is true not because it’s old, but because it’s true to the Word.
Most of these guys are pop parade theologians. Walvoord, Ryrie, Fruchtenbaum, Scofield, Pentecost, McGee were the ones I grew up reading. Most of the better ones are on the honorable mention list.
Yes, in my opinion McGee is number one. There is really nothing better going through the entire Bible verse by verse as he did.
McGee is very good. One of the best prophetic interpreters I’ve ever seen is Fruchtenbaum. He came to our church when I was a kid and did a whole week seminar. He has only improved with age. Walvoord did too for a couple of nites, he was excellent.
Ryrie, Whitcomb, Wiersbe, Swindoll, Stanley, Lutzer, MacAuthur, Dyer, Criswell, Crutchfield, were all the big ones everyone read back in the 70’s. John Sproule is probably one of the best theologians and translators alive.
Sad to see Lindsey and how he’s gone downhill. I think he came to our church too, or we showed his movie, I can’t remember, but in the 70’s he was extremely good.
And, you are an idiot. So, there. You call someone stupid and those who like Hal think you are.
I guess you did not read what our LORD Jesus Christ had to say in His Scriptures about prophecy. I assume you assume HE is wrong, by your comment!!!
