We need some weapons-grade FReepin’ on this poll.

FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin’, if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)

I’m handling Dynachrome’s FReep a Poll pings until he returns. Errors and omissions during that time are solely my fault and should cease upon his return.

True, it means nothing more than fluff, but it's good for the pinkos to realise that the majority disagree with them and are willing to stand up against them

it's the symbolism of the thing.

It’s an election promise of Cuomo’s - seems he is pushing it and whining/dining the GOP. Wonder if Archibishop Timothy Dolan brought catholic cuomo to the woodshed, yet, for him doing the devil’s work.

Voted "NO"!

I'm from Massachusetts! I'm not used to getting a vote on this!

It felt good!

And here I thought there was supposed to be separation of church and state.

Yes ... there is.

The State cannot dictate how the Church shall run its affairs, nor can the State dictate which of many competing "churches" will receive favor and sanction.

The Church, however, as a private organization of citizens, may voice its institutional opinion as to what the State should do ... likewise the members of the Church, as individual citizens may both voice their opinions and exercise their franchise according to their consciences.

Separation of Church and State doesn't mean what many folks think it means.

PLEASE FREEP the poll at the link.

Freeping a poll doesn't really help. Better to contact the politicians. Info posted on my latest thread.

“Our laws and our institutions must necessarily be based upon and embody the teachings of The Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise; and in this sense and to this extent our civilization and our institutions are emphatically Christian... this is a Christian nation”....... I don’t think they’re counting our votes....it’s still at 27%....appears it’s rigged already.

The state should not be making laws regarding religious sacraments.

That would be typical, wouldn’t it. Why would they treat a poll any different than they treat elections?

Yep....besides few things can be trusted as polls. It was not til two years ago anyone asked me what I thought...but anymore my phone rings frequently with politicians calling for money, or town hall meeting, or phone chats. etc.
