Proof: Catholics Caused the Holocaust!
Creative Minority Report ^ | January 6, 2012 | Matthew Archbold

In 1894, a four year old boy was playing near the icy waters of the River Inn in Passau, Germany. The young boy fell into the river and was drowning when another boy, Johann Kuehberger, leapt into the river and saved the boy.

Kuehberger, who jumped into the river to save the boy, grew up to be a priest.

The little boy who was saved was named Adolf Hitler and he grew up to be the Fuhrer.

Yup. The Daily Mail today reports that old newspaper archives have now seemingly confirmed this long rumored incident. They're calling it "the most devastating act of mercy in history."

It's a pretty wild find, I must admit.

The story was never verified by Hitler during his lifetime. But now a small cutting from the Donauzeitung - Danube newspaper - of 1894 has been found in Passau.

It describes how a 'young fellow' fell through the thin ice of the river in January of that year.

The report described how a 'determined comrade' - the paper at the time was left-wing - went into the freezing water to save the child who would grow into mankind's biggest monster.
So for anyone who wants to blame the Holocaust on the Catholics, now you can. Hey, they were doing it anyway.

the use of the word "comrade" (no doubt kamerad in German) was just a common way of saying friend or buddy and doesn't necessarily imply anything about the politics of the old newspaper.

I would like to see the original German article--whether it used the word Kamerad, meaning friend or buddy, or Genosse (mate), which also meant "Comrade" in the Communist/Socialist sense.

A young Hitler fell in the River Inn in Passau, southern Germany, across the border from his native Austria

Should have known. Hitler was an illegal.

The boy who was rescued was Hitler’s age, and the incident took place near his hometown, but the article doesn’t name him.

Hitler essentially became a German citizen, because of the German version of the DREAM act. Since he had fought in the German Army in WWI, while still an Austrian citizen, he was allowed to become a German Citizen in 1925.

I'll see your Hitler, and raise you a Stalin and a Mao ...

Not to mention Genghis Khan and a few others. I read somewhere this past year that Genghis Khan destroyed so many farms and towns in central Asia that he changed the long-term weather patterns, as the entire region grew back to forest. He indicated that he wasn't anyone to mess with by leaving large pyramids of human skulls all over the place.

Are you saying evil got the upper hand for a time?

It frequently does. As C.S. Lewis put it, as human beings and especially as Christians we are operating in "enemy territory" and need to be aware of that fact and conduct ourselves accordingly. Of course, he wrote and broadcast that description in London during the middle of the Blitz in WWII.

It might and that's why I said "not necessarily". But on the whole it would be a little unusual for a daily paper in the heavily Catholic south of Germany (Passau is in Lower Bavaria, sort of the Texas of Germany) to have a Socialist or Marxist bent. Plus, I went on the assumption (safe, I think) that the writer of this article is a typical product of a journalism school education. But as always, I could be wrong.

I am holding a Carter, Clinton and one Obama. Looks like I have three jokers when I thought most packs of cards only had two!

Or is that just me?

Yes and he became a German in time for a ‘32 election by a bit of trickery acc to Rise and Fall of Third Reich—he was appointed to a position in the “state” of Brunswick and thus became a citizen of that state and Germany

Wiki:
>>Hitler formally renounced his Austrian citizenship on 7 April 1925, but at the time did not acquire German citizenship. For almost seven years Hitler was stateless, unable to run for public office, and faced the risk of deportation. On 25 February 1932 the interior minister of Brunswick, who was a member of the NSDAP, appointed Hitler as administrator for the state’s delegation to the Reichsrat in Berlin, making Hitler a citizen of Brunswick, and thus of Germany.

imho, Stalin and Mao were worse than Hitler. Stalin in particular was evil and sane and smart as heck. Hitler was evil and smart, but insane. Stalin murdered more...
