"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."(John 14:27)
"Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare of the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I am trusting Him."(Psalm 91:1-2)

Honor our patriots, and give thanks.
Father, Bless each of them, as they go willingly, eagerly, and with love to honor You, Sacrificing on our behalf and for our beloved nation. Show them the ways as they carry out Your Will for this great country. Fill them with Your Wisdom, to do that which we cannot begin to understand. Fill them with Your Peace.
We trust You and Your plans. We thank You for Your Promises. As Jesus said, I am Willing!(Matthew 8:3) Let us embrace His Love and use it, as we go forward into this New Year. Thank You for Your Love. Thank You for Your Mercy. We are Righteous in Christ Jesus. And we know that You will make all things Right. Thank You, Father! In Jesus Beautiful Name, Amen

Bless The Interruptions
January 9, 2012
If your life is anything like mine, its pretty well planned out. I have a calendar that reminds me of appointments, meetings, and other to-do items. Inevitably, interruptions change my day dramatically; and while they can be frustrating, they also can be productive.
Some of the great advances in Gods plans have come through interruptions to the normal routine. Take Mary, for example. An angel interrupted her life with the announcement that she would have a son named Jesus. Since she was a virgin and engaged to be married, this news was undoubtedly shocking and deeply troubling (Luke 1:26-31). And Saul, the Jewish zealot who persecuted early Christians, was on his way to Damascus to arrest more followers of the Way when he was blinded by Jesus Himself (Acts 9:1-9). This life-changing interruption had huge implications for the future of Christianity.
The psalmist reminds us that the Lord can make the plans of the peoples of no effect (Ps. 33:10). Yet all too often we respond to the interruptions of our well-ordered lives with attitudes like frustration, irritation, fear, and doubt. Gods surprises in our day are full of opportunities. Lets welcome them as a new to-do list from Him.
Lord, if Im feeling rushed today,
I need Your eyes to help me see
That when an interruption comes,
It is an opportunity. Sper
Look for Gods purpose in your next interruption.
Read: Psalm 33:10-15
The
Lord . . . makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. The counsel of the Lord stands forever.
Psalm 33:10-11

Thank you Father for blessing this nation with men and women who are willing to sacrifice so much for the people of this country and others in lands far from their homes. Bless, defend, and protect them, and their families who also give up so much for so many.
Lord, we ask that you pour out your Holy Spirit upon this nation, awakening believers to pray and testify to the lost what you have done in our lives. Give us your words to speak and your heart of compassion. May we always be open to the Holy Spirits prompting.
Father, we ask that you give believers wisdom in voting. May we not look for someone who pleases us, but who pleases you and brings you glory. Help us to remember no man can can change the hearts of people, but may our next president be a man who leads this country closer to you.
Bring a revival to this nation and the world that opens eyes, changes hearts, and brings you glory.
In your precious Son Jesus name we pray.
Amen
