Let me Tell His Greatness in a Prayer of Thanks.

Dear Father of Grace,

How we Love You, our Blessed Lord and King! You are Wonderful, our God, So Filled with Mercy, and Good and Kind. Thank You Always, Most Compassionate Shepherd, for Caring for Your Dear Lambs. We are Forever Grateful for Your Blood that Washed Away our Sins.

Our Dependable God, with Thanksgiving we Intercede for our Brave Troops. What Wonderful and Appreciated Gifts they are, Dearest Lord! May Every Man be Secure Beneath Jehovah's Covering Wing. We Ask that Your Joy and Your Grace Encircle our Troops. May All the Favor and Blessing and Strength of Heaven be theirs. May Your Peace Keep the Hearts of their Loved Ones who Miss them at Home. We Pray for our Men, Psalm 92:12,13: 'The Godly shall Flourish like Palm Trees, and Grow Tall as the Cedars of Lebanon. For they are Transplanted into the Lord's Own Garden, and are Under His Personal Care.'

Our Savior Most Kind, we Lift Up Your Servant, John MacArthur. How can we Thank You for the Ministry of John and 'Grace to You'? Only in Eternity will All the Spiritual Fruit be Known. We Ask, our Savior, for Pastor John to be Strengthened and Blessed. May the Work he Does be Anointed Without Measure, our Holy King. May Everyone in that Ministry be Empowered with Jehovah's Great Might. May Each Day See an Increase in the Ministry's Outreach and Scope. Our Hearts are So Thankful for John MacArthur and His Love for Your Word. 'Let me Shout God's Name with a Praising Song, Let me Tell His Greatness in a Prayer of Thanks!' (Ps.69:30)

Thank You for Hearing us, our Lord of Boundless Grace. 'He is my Shelter. There is Nothing but Goodness in Him!' (Ps.92:15) In Jesus' Name, for the Glory and Praise of the King, amen.

GEORGE WASHINGTON – THE PRAYER AT VALLEY FORGE
In the coldest and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting glory and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation.

In like manner, let our prayers now rise for our heroes in the American military who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and keep them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, Amen.
