War is coming to the Middle East soon! A casual observer would reply “What’s new?” In a way he would be correct. War is the rule not the exception in that part of the world. However, this is a completely different war, and we need to be ready for it.
On the night of May 7-8, 2012, Prime Minister Netanyahu forged a national unity government when he managed to bring Kadima, the main opposition party, into his ruling coalition. This was completely unexpected because hours before the Knesset had been discussing a bill calling for early elections that Netanyahu was sure to win. Instead, he called off the elections and announced the new coalition that gave his administration an unprecedented 78% of the seats in the Knesset. Including Kadima in the coalition meant that Netanyahu had compromised in some points such as the law that exempts ultra-orthodox Jews from military service. Why did he do this, rather than wait until September and win by a comfortable margin?

I agree with every word.
Whatever bad is going to happen can be mitigated by prayer and as you say, turning back toward our Founding principals and especially faith.
Obama is a tool of evil and with this awakening he is bringing on, is being used for the final good.

Yes, we need to back Israel and as you say, it won’t happen with the very, very evil man that is presently in our White House.
If he is defeated in Nov., we will have a chance. It will be a sign of God’s mercy on us. If he is re-elected, the USA is done for and that includes possible nuclear annihilation.

The Lord Will Restore Israel

Obama is evil. That being said, greater is He who is within us than he who is within Obama. We too who know Him, Jesus Christ as Lord, and are called by His name, will be saved...The next few months will be interesting. Obama’s shoes are as dangerous for him as were Hitler’s for him...

war is coming —its like 1937 and the clouds of war are growing. War Between Israel and Iran, that will draw in Egypt and Syria (maybe Jordan) We may get pulled in. War between China and The Philippines (maybe Vietnam pulled in with Taiwan) Here too we may get pulled in. This could well be WW III only this time we will have few allies—Europe is too broke and will sit this one out-—maybe Canada might pay a part? Then there is North Korea—who might get involved—and Russia too.

Amen to that because there is no reason not to understand and believe God's special relationship with, and love for Israel. Hell, backing Israel makes moral sense even if you forget what God thinks of her.
The more I read about our Founding Fathers and how America was born, the clearer the reality of our Covenant with God becomes for me.
We've been blessed and protected over and over again, but we have steadily turned away from Him and our Covenant with Him, much the same as ancient Israel did.
Israel was warned, but failed to heed the warnings and received Judgement as promised.
And here we are, doing exactly the same things ancient Israel did, sacrificing innocent humans on the alter of convenience, taking God out and replacing Him with ourselves and our defiance, etc.
This didn't end well for Israel and it won't end well for us if we continue our current path.
Prayer and repentance worked for Niniveh, and it did postpone the judgment for Judah. So, I agree. It all boils down to 2 Chron. 7:14: "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land". Big IF, though!
