But I told them, I am who I am. And this is what I fight for.”
He fights for turning marriage into sodomy because he views himself as I Am. He is not God and he has no right to bless sodomy in the name of God. As a minister of Christ he should love homosexuals. He should not claim sin is holy in matrimony.

Apparently two -thirds of the congregation follow the Bible and Christ, only one-third follow the preacher.
It is repugnant to speak of parishoners as followers of any preacher.

I think it would be all good if he makes it an Methodist church Probably so. My wife & I stopped going to our local United Methodist Church of many years a couple of years ago when the most recent woman pastor appointee rotated in and started preaching from Time magazine and throwing out the pro-gay comments (among other pro-lib stuff) during sermons. Seeya.

Ironically, it's those Bible thumping crazed wacky churches (according to the MSM out of touch with post modern enlightened society with it's pop-culture) that are doing well, i.e. The Southern Baptists, Mormons... etc that holding steady or even increasing in their numbers!
You lost me when you lumped in a cult religion with a Christian sect.

In a recent article I read, he said he had 320 congregants, and now has 110, but a NYT’s article from 2007 noted his congregants at 70.
He is apparently bad at math..Who would take out a 200,000 dollar loan with only 70 men, women, and children to pay it?
If you’ve looked at Pics of the Church, and the neighborhood it’s in, it’s far from affluent.
I think he screwed up, and has now inflated the number of congregants who left, or that he had originally to pony up sympathy from the gay community..
“Send me a check. I’m pro gay..” Seems like it has worked, just not to the tune of $200,000.

Did your church get the loan?

Did your church get the loan? Didn't need it. Changed the format to feather boas and
showtunes and added a steamy sauna. Business is flaming.

I guess the good Reverend Oliver White should ask all the local homosexual community to donate to his church so he can retire the $200,000 debt. Yeah, right! Got to get right on that.

Unrepentant or clueless? Unrepentant.
Romans 1:8 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world Gods invisible qualitieshis eternal power and divine naturehave been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

What a crazy world we live in when a holy man would condemn morality.
Normally, that quote would end: .....are “well grounded and smiled upon by the Lord.”
I would not be at all surprised of Obugger bails them out.

The "reverend" white has learned a valuable lesson. Pay off the loan BEFORE you spit in your congregations faces.
The "reverend" has control of the tax-free assets created and paid for by the congregation. He simply lost his previous tax-free cash flow.
Obviously, the people of congregations (like many before) learned nothing from the episode. Were they capable of learning anything, the people of congregations would long ago have seized control of THEIR OWN assets and cash flow to prevent precisely this sort of hostile takeover by leftists.
And the Gramscian marxists continue their "long march through the institutions".
Religions are man-made, and therefore are corrupted from their inception.

Yeah, right. Using emotional words to describe the Mormons makes you right. Better yet, it increases the odds of having a Conservative become president and helps a lot at trying to push through even the most basic Christian principals in this nation. Sense any sarcasm? A house divided- there is a reason why we have gay marriage, abortion on demand and a president that declares the US is not a Christian nation on Arab TV... in the meantime you can pride and elevate yourself by attacking the Mormons, that’ll help! I guess that makes you a better Christian? Are Catholics a “cult?” What about “Jehovah Witnesses?” You see, the awesome thing about Christians is that they can agree on a lot, and even those things they all share a common ground on, they ignore because infighting and greed/money is more important than those common values they do have.

Yeah, right. Using emotional words to describe the Mormons makes you right.
There is nothing emotional in my statement.
Mormonism, as defined by it's founder, it's bishops, it's founding documents, and it's practices is not a sect of Christianity, it is it's own religion.
From a Christian perspective, using the Christian Bible (that Joseph Smith declared had been corrupted by incorrect translations BTW), Mormonism does not believe in the God, the Son of God, or the Holy Spirit of the Bible, furthermore, they, by the words of their own bishops and prophets, do not believe in the Gospel of the Bible where salvation if of the Grace of God alone, completely separate from our own works.
Therefore it is a cult.
My statement has been proven both factually and historically by many, many, many articles posted on FreeRepublic that contain the truth backed up, once again, by the words of it's founder, it's Prophets, it's bishops, it's founding documents, and it's practices.

mormonism is not Christianity.
lds do not beleive in the Christ of the Bible.
Gordon B. Hinckley: “The traditional Christ of whom they speak is not the Christ of whom I [LdS President and Living Prophet] speak.”
