Lord, we come to You in prayer, and ask You now to let Your peace, God, which transcends all understanding, guard our heart and our mind in Christ Jesus. Help us, and help all our American Heroes not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Lord, bring these captives completely back to You, we will be like those who dream! Our mouths will be filled with laughter and our tongues with songs of joy! The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. You, O Lord, have filled our hearts with greater joy than when our grain and new wine abound.Jesus, teach us not to let our hearts be troubled. Help us to trust in Your Father and also in You. In Your Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, You would have told us. You have gone there to prepare a place for us. You will most assuredly come back and take us to be with You some day so that we Your children in this nation may also be where You are. For You are a merciful God; You will not abandon, destroy us, or forget the covenant with our spiritual forefathers, which You confirmed to them by oath. We belong to Jesus Christ; therefore we, too, are Abraham's seed and an heir according to Your promise. Like Isaac was, we are children of promise, Amen.
