Jeremiah 17:7,8
Blessed is the Man that Trusteth in the LORD,
And whose Hope the LORD is.
For he shall be as a Tree that is Planted by the Water,
Which Spreadeth Out her Roots by the River,
And shall not Feel when the Heat Cometh,
But her Leaf shall be Green,
And shall not Care for the Year of Drought,
Neither shall Cease from Yielding Fruit.

Our Merciful Father,
'O God, my God! How I Search for You! How I Thirst for You in this parched and Weary Land where there is No Water. How I Long to Find You! How I Wish I could Go into Your Sanctuary to See Your Strength and Glory, for Your Love and Kindness are Better to me than Life itself. How I Praise You! I will Bless You as Long as I Live, Lifting Up my hands to You in Prayer.' (Ps.63:1-4)
Our Loving and Kind Savior, Please Heal our Backslidden Land. May she be Returned, through Grace, to our Founders Godly Ways. May a Righteous Army Arise throughout this Nation, Holy Lord. May a Spiritual Tidal Wave Sweep our Lethargy Away. Help us, O God of Mercy and Love! May Obama's Agendas be Hindered, Thwarted, and Stopped. May his Soul be Saved, through Jesus' Sovereign Grace.
Our Abba, we Lift to Thee our Brave and Dear Troops. May they be Sheltered Safely in Jehovah's Strong Arms. Please Enfold Every Man, Lord, in the Peace of Jesus Christ. For our Military Men we Pray Jeremiah 17:7,8: 'Blessed is the Man that Trusteth in the LORD, and whose Hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a Tree that is Planted by the Water, which Spreadeth Out her Roots by the River, and shall not Feel when the Heat Cometh, but her Leaf shall be Green, and shall not Care for the Year of Drought, Neither shall Cease from Yielding Fruit.'
Thank You, Your Excellency, for Hearing and Answering our Prayers. May You be Exalted, Praised, and Honored Forevermore. In Jesus' Name, for the Glory of our Beautiful King, amen.

PRAYERS GOING UP FOR OUR AMERICAN HEROES AND FOR OUR BELOVED NATION!
GEN. GEORGE WASHINGTON THE PRAYER AT VALLEY FORGE "Let Tyrants Shake Their Iron Rod" William Billings Mixed District Choir, Fairfax, Virginia (Click)
In the coldest and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting glory and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation.
In like manner, let our prayers now rise lie a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and keep them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

Heavenly Father, Lord of the Nations, unto Your Divine Mercy we commend the souls of these brave men and women who have fallen in the service of our Beloved Nation and in defense of the Freedoms we hold dear. We pray that You gather them in Your loving embrace, that You cause Your countenance to shine upon them, and that You vouchsafe their souls to dwell eternally in Your Divine Presence. Through Jesus Christ Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

Two-Way Communication
September 2, 2012
Have you ever been stuck in a conversation with someone who talks only about himself? To be polite, you strike up a dialogue by asking questions. The other person proceeds to talk endlessly about himself, and he never once asks you anything. It is all about that personand nothing about you.
Imagine what it must be like for our heavenly Father to listen to our prayers during our devotional time. We may have read a portion of His Word, but then in prayer we swiftly shift focus exclusively to our needs. We ask for help in solving a problem, providing for a financial need, or healing a physical ailment. But the passage weve just read doesnt even enter into our prayers. What God has just said to us goes largely unacknowledged.
Apparently the writer of Psalm 119 did not have this perspective. Instead, he sought Gods help in understanding the Word: Open my eyes, he said, that I may see wondrous things from Your law (v.18). And as he prayed he expressed how he treasured Gods Word, calling it his delight (v.24).
Lets develop a discipline of praying our response to the Word. It just might transform our devotional time. Bible reading and prayer should reflect a two-way communication.
Lord, Ive just read Your Word to me in Psalm 119.
Give me a strong desire like the psalmists to keep Your
Word. Show me what I can do to make it my delight and
counselor. Open my eyes and heart to learn from You.
Listen to Gods Word then pray about what youve heard.

Amen, Kitty
Almighty and eternal God, Protect our military as they discharge their duties. Protect them with the shield of your strength and keep them safe from all evil and harm. May the power of your love enable them to return home safely to the people who love them and to the gratitude of the American people. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
May God Guide And Heal Our Nation
