Christ Jesus, we acknowledge that You are the ultimate mighty warrior. There is none like You! No power equals Your power! You are transcendent over all! When we feel overwhelmed with evil all around us, help us, Your children in this Nation, and all our American Heroes rejoice in the vision of the apostle John, who saw heaven standing open and there before him was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice You will judge and make war, Your eyes will be like blazing fire, and on Your head will be many crowns. You have a name written on You that no one knows but You Yourself.Lord, who can say, "I have kept my heart pure; I am clean and without sin?" We are powerless to possess a pure and clean heart on our own. Only You can do it for us. Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--help us in this Nation to think about such things. Please help us, Lord, not be deceived by the serpent's cunning and allow our mind to be led astray from our new commitment of sincere and pure devotion to You. In the name of our Savior Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen.
