Glorious Heavenly Father, how awesome You are! You have redeemed us! We are adopted as Your sons and daughters! What a great mystery it is that You have revealed to us. We pray that You would continue to open the eyes of our understanding to know what is the hope of Your calling, and what are the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints. God, we want to act more like Jesus each day. Help us, Holy Spirit. We are here today to praise and thank You and to intercede for our United States and her military. This Nation has been so blessed by You. We thank You for all the blessings about which we know and those which we do not know. We have confidence in Your goodness and, therefore, know that You have done far more than we could ask or think. We thank You for each protector You have called, no matter in what capacity. Anoint each one for his assignment so that he can be successful at the job he has been given. Give each the Heavenly protection that he needs to perform his duties and return to his family safe and sound. Sanctify them spirit, soul and body.
We are very grateful for all the people in our Nation who are giving our people the truth of what those in authority are doing. Strengthen and grant favor to each heroic one. Cause any weapon formed against them to stumble and fall. We pray that with that favor from You, their message will be proclaimed far and wide. Give them mouth and utterance that even their enemies will not be able to refute.
We are asking for a mighty move of the Spirit of Truth among us. This can come only from You. We need the manifestation of Your Holy Spirit. Apart from You, we can do and have nothing. We are totally dependent on You and grateful that You never leave us or forsake us. We love You in Jesus name. Amen.

The Trail Of Tears
December 12, 2012
A very severe and tragic event in US history was the forced relocation of thousands of Native Americans in the early 19th century. Native American tribes, who had struck treaties with and fought alongside the burgeoning white population, were driven out of their ancestral lands. In the winter of 1838, thousands of Cherokee were forced to embark on a brutal 1,000-mile march westward known as The Trail of Tears. This injustice resulted in the deaths of thousands of people, many of whom had little or no clothing, shoes, or supplies for such a journey.
The world continues to be filled with injustice, pain, and heartache. And many today may feel as if they are leaving a trail of tearstears that go unnoticed and grief that is not comforted. But our Lord sees our tears and comforts our weary hearts (2 Cor. 1:3-5). He also declares the hope of a future time not marked by the stains of sin or injustice. In that day and in that place, God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away (Rev. 21:4).
The God who offers freedom from tears in the future is the only One who can fully comfort our tears now.
Loving Father, thank You that our hurts
and pains matter to You. Thank You for the
promise of an eternity without tears and a
life forever with You. Amen.
When God permits trials, He also provides comfort.

AMEN! It's all His goodness, power and mercy, isn't it? We petition Him according to His will by His righteousness imparted to us based on Jesus' sacrifice...and then He gives US the credit! Awesome God!

We are totally dependent on You and grateful that You never leave us or forsake us. Amen to your Spirit-led prayer. Yes, Lord, our righteousness is as filthy rags. But You, Lord God, have been made unto us wisdom, righteousness, justification, and redemption. Because of the finished work of the Cross, we have hope for this nation and its people. We plead the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ over America in this tremendous time of need. Help us, Lord, out of Your great mercy. We are lost without You. In the Name of Our Savior, Amen.

PRAYERS ASCENDING ON HIGH FOR OUR AMERICAN HEROES AND FOR OUR BELOVED NATION!
GEN. GEORGE WASHINGTON THE PRAYER AT VALLEY FORGE "Let Tyrants Shake Their Iron Rod" William Billings Mixed District Choir, Fairfax, Virginia (Click)
In the coldest and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting glory and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation.
In like manner, let our prayers now rise lie a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and keep them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

Heavenly Father, Lord of the Nations, unto Your Divine Mercy we commend the souls of these brave men and women who have fallen in the service of our Beloved Nation and in defense of the Freedoms we hold dear. We pray that You gather them in Your loving embrace, that You cause Your countenance to shine upon them, and that You vouchsafe their souls to dwell eternally in Your Divine Presence. Through Jesus Christ Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen. |
