Father, we are here before Your throne today based on our need and the integrity of Your Word. You are that Ever Present Help in time of need. Thank You for Your mercy towards us. How we love You.

You have told us to pray for those in authority and so that is what we are doing today. Make them alive to You and Your ways of doing and being right. Shine Your light of love, truth and wisdom into their minds and hearts. Give them the strength to do what is right instead of what serves them. For those servants You have given us who have Your vision for our Nation, encourage and cause them to be steadfast, with favor from You and their peers. Your Word says: “By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted”. Sir, You have told us that we are blessed with faithful Abraham and that we are redeemed from every curse, so we claim our blessing on our Nation and give You thanks.

We lift up to You our military men and women. By that same blessing, protect them and cause them to be a success. Because we have prayed, we believe that those in authority in Washington will make the correct decisions regarding our military and our international interventions for righteous causes. We want them to have all the equipment and support that they need. We give You the glory for that, Sir.

We are so grateful to have audience and assurance before Your throne today because of the blood of Jesus and Your blessing on Your children. It is in the name of our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus, that we pray. Amen.

In the coldest and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting glory and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation.

In like manner, let our prayers now rise lie a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and keep them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

Dear JESUS, there is so much in this verse. OH LORD, first YOU went up to the mountaintop first. YOU always travel with us, whether it be a mountaintop of GLORY or a mountaintop of struggle or a mountaintop of insurmountable faith…. IT IS YOU LORD…Thank YOU. Second, Dear JESUS, just as YOU have sat down at the Right Hand of the FATHER…in full CONTROL, VICTORY OVER all THINGS through YOUR Death and Resurrection, YOU sit with us…AMEN. OH JESUS, YOU prepare a table…thank YOU, and Goodness and Mercy are ours..thank YOU.

Dear JESUS, I pray for our Soldiers, I pray for those in the IDF. I think about how David spent many nights alone with his GOD, learning, listening loving YOU…and when it came time, he penned his heart and YOUR LOVE for us…Thank YOU. Write these upon the hearts of our men and women so that they know YOU..and Love YOU..and trust YOU…and find Strength and Hope in YOU…Amen.
