It is so easy to bless You, Lord. Our mouths are full of, Thank You, Jesus. Every time we look at a snowflake, an ant, a human being, a sunset we think of You and whisper, Thank You. We are grateful that we have eternity to sing Your praises and, yet, that seems not nearly long enough to tell You how much we appreciate, love and find ourselves in awe of You and Your works.
At this moment, I thank You for Your Word and Your promise from Psalm 34:, The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry. We are gathered in the Spirit, to present our cries to You with the confidence that You hear those cries. Thank You for turning Your eyes to us. We cry for our citizenry who dont know You and Your majesty. It is Your grace and the mercy of Your Spirit that can enlighten them. Bless them as You did Peter when You revealed, Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this (his utterance, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God)to you, but my Father who is in heaven.
We pray for them all, but particularly, Father, we think of those in service to us in our Government and our military. It is only in declaring Jesus Lord that the changes that need to be made can be carried out. Thinking in terms of eternity, of course, we want them with us in Heaven.
I dont want to be like a Pharisee that continues to utter the same prayers over and over and think that I will be heard for my many words, but my hearts cry to You continues to flowI trust by Your Spiritin wanting no person from the military to come home without hearing the Gospel and being enlightened by Your Spirit. We trust You for laborers.
17 When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.
18 The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.
20 He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.
21 Affliction will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned.
22 The LORD redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.
Thank You for answering our cries today in Jesus name. Amen.

Heavenly Father,
Forgive us for our unbelief. May a revival start in our hearts and may a revival spread throughout our nation to call us back to You.
In Jesus Name,

I join in prayer for our heroes and nation!
One summer I was at a gathering of old high school acquaintances when someone behind me tapped me on my shoulder. As my eyes drifted over the womans name tag, my mind drifted back in time. I remembered a tightly folded note that had been shoved through the slot on my locker. It had contained cruel words of rejection that had shamed me and crushed my spirit. I remember thinking, Somebody needs to teach you a lesson on how to treat people! Although I felt as if I were reliving my adolescent pain, I mustered up my best fake smile; and insincere words began coming out of my mouth.
We began to converse. A sad story of a difficult upbringing and of an unhappy marriage began to pour out of her. As it did, the words root of bitterness from Hebrews 12:15 popped into my head. Thats what Im feeling, I thought. After all these years, I still had a deep root of bitterness hidden within me, twisting around and strangling my heart.
Then these words came to my mind: Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good (Rom. 12:21).
We talked. We even shared some tears. Neither of us mentioned the long-ago incident. God taught someone a lesson that afternoona lesson of forgiveness and of letting go of bitterness. He taught it to me.
Read: Romans 12:14-21
Amen.
Heartfelt Amens to Every Powerful Word, Dearest Sister Hiskid.

Psalm 125 Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides for ever. 2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people, from this time forth and for evermore.
OH LORD, this is a beautiful verse especially for those who know the Love and Covenant YOU hold with YOUR people Israel and the Peace of Jerusalem. Thank YOU for opening our eyes to this FAITH for both Jew and Gentile that rest in the SOLID SALVATION of our LORD and Savior. IN HIM, we cannot be moved, IN HIM, we will abide with YOU forever, IN HIM, we have all the defense we need both physically and spiritually. Help us realize this. Weakness is our nemesis in light of YOUR COVENANTS and PROMISES ..Dear LORD, I pray for our soldiers. I have seen the mountains in Israel and they are awe inspiring, give these ones the awe they need to FEAR YOU and LOVE YOU and TRUST YOU so that they will be strong. Dear LORD, surround them with YOUR SPIRIT and TRUTH and with people who LOVE YOU so that they will know security and rest in the midst of service. . . Amen. OH LORD, for my hearts desire, my Jake, I pray that you work this trust deep within him. He is thick headed at times, and I pray that YOU can use that part of him to develop a solid, unwavering, abiding faith that can not be moved. Surround Alek, our friend, as he wavers in his faith..be his shield..Thank YOU.. Amen.
Amen.
Thank You, Sweet, Dear FRiend! :-)
