At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prisonthat I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak. (Col. 1: 3-4)
Father, we are excited because Jesus is Lord today. You are on Your throne and this is a day of salvation and grace! Hallelujah to our Mighty God!
Today we join with Your Spirit in praying for Your will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Specifically, I feel impressed to pray today for our military chaplains. Thank You for sending them as laborers into the Harvest of our military men and women. Only in Heaven will we learn the extent to which their presence brought Your Kingdom to these beloved men and women and to battle outcomes.
You told us to pray for ministers of the Gospel in Colossians 1 and Ephesians 6: We keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for each one of them called by You, that words may be given to them in opening their mouths boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which they are ambassadors , that they may declare it boldly, as they ought to speak. At the same time, we pray also for them, that God may open to them a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, that they may make it clear, which is how they ought to speak.
We also ask that, according to the riches of Your glory You may grant them to be strengthened with power through Your Spirit in their inner being, so that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faiththat they, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that they may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Now to You who are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to You be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
Please pray with me today for our Chaplains.
A call to prayer.

One night a clergyman was walking to church when a thief pulled a gun on him and demanded his money or his life. When he reached in his pocket to hand over his wallet, the robber saw his clerical collar and said: I see you are a priest. Never mind, you can go. The clergyman, surprised by the robbers unexpected act of piety, offered him a candy bar. The robber said, No thank you. I dont eat candy during Lent.
The man had given up candy as a supposed sacrifice for Lent, but his lifestyle of stealing showed his real character! According to the writer of Proverbs, conduct is the best indicator of character. If someone says he is a godly person, his words can only be proven by consistent actions (20:11). This was true of the religious leaders in Jesus day as well. He condemned the Pharisees and exposed their sham for professing godliness but denying that profession with sin in their lives (Matt. 23:13-36). Appearances and words are deceiving; behavior is the best judge of character. This applies to all of us.
As followers of Jesus, we demonstrate our love for Him by what we do, not just by what we say. May our devotion to God, because of His love for us, be revealed in our actions today.
Read: Matthew 23:23-31
Amen
Heavenly Father -
Grant courage and conviction to the military chaplains - especially those who are pressured not to speak Your Word or pray in Jesus Name - out of the insanity of Political Correctness.
May their light reflect Your Light and shine bright in this dark world.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
Yes! Amen!
Another thing I had forgotten: Father, for those who are functioning as Chaplains that don’t know You as Lord, we pray that You would send laborers TO THEM and then convict them concerning righteousness and bless them with understanding so that they can receive Jesus as Lord and no longer be hirelings, but sent ones from You. Amen.
Thank you for praying today.
Great lesson again today, Mayor. Thank you and thank you for praying.
Amen.
1 Timothy 3:1 The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task.
OH LORD, how my prayers go out for our military chaplains. It is no small task to be a guardian of souls, and one that we depend on so greatly as we see off our own into a world not like home. We as parents who LOVE YOU LORD, did our best and now these brave men and women need to test their faith on their own. May they seek out counsel when needed, may they inquire for prayer when they need it, may they find comfort for the hearts when they need it, may they find a shepherd when they find themselves straying. OH LORD, Bless our Chaplains may they truly be the heart soul mind and strength of the very GOD they serve as they love with the same zeal Amen.
Amen to Every Powerful Word of your Beautiful Prayer, Dear Servant of Jesus Christ.
Standing with you in 100% Agreement, with Thanksgiving Always for your Wonderful Prayer Ministry.
'To God Only Wise be Glory Forever through Jesus Christ our Lord,' (Rom.16:27)
Amen.
I join in prayer for our heroes and nation!
AMEN. A true mother’s heart cry.
