Today we pray with the Psalmist and ask You to lift up the light of Your countenance on this troubled Nation and our beloved troops. Put gladness in our hearts as we see You turn us in the righteous direction You have planned for us. Your children declare in faith, “WE ARE ONE NATION UNDER GOD! JESUS CHRIST IS LORD OVER THE UNITED STATES!”
We pray that Your presence would cause our military to lie down in peace and sleep when they need restoration, for You alone, O Lord, make them dwell in safety. Order each one’s steps into victory and safety as they force their way through darkness to make a way for Your Light. Help them to bring righteous judgment to those who would destroy Your creation and Your way of living and being right. As the body of Christ has prayed, protect them as they protect us.
We count each member of our military as a blessing from You. Thank You for calling and equipping so many. Our part in their struggle is to pray for them, knowing that Your goodness will answer our prayers. Let Your Word have free course among them, which is Your greatest blessing of all. We trust that none will go home without hearing Your plan of salvation.
Glory, Hallelujah. You are an awesome God and we thank You in the name of Jesus.

May the Good Lord in Heaven be our refuge during these troubling times in the world as well as our country. May the Lord strong and mighty defend us from all our foes, physical, spiritual, emotional from outside as well as within. In Jesus Name, Amen

When torrential downpours beat on the heads of my newly planted petunias, I felt bad for them. I wanted to bring them inside to shelter them from the storm. By the time the rain stopped, their little faces were bowed to the ground from the weight of the water. They looked sad and weak. Within a few hours, however, they perked up and turned their heads skyward. By the next day, they were standing straight and strong.
What a transformation! After pounding them on the head, the rain dripped from their leaves, soaked into the soil, and came up through their stalks, giving them the strength to stand straight.
Because I prefer sunshine, I get annoyed when rain spoils my outdoor plans. I sometimes wrongly think of rain as something negative. But anyone who has experienced drought knows that rain is a blessing. It nourishes the earth for the benefit of both the just and the unjust (Matt. 5:45).
Even when the storms of life hit so hard that we nearly break from the force, the “rain” is not an enemy. Our loving God has allowed it to make us stronger. He uses the water that batters us on the outside to build us up on the inside, so we may stand straight and strong.

What picture of Promise...clouds, rain, a rainbow...the TREE of LIFE feeding SALVATION and RIGHTEOUSNESS to souls that await to bear fruit of the SPIRIT, and in all LORD, YOU are CREATOR GOD...and we PRAISE YOU for WHO YOU ARE..ALMIGHTY
Dear LORD, we pray for the gentle rain of GRACE to fall over our military men and women. And when special needs are warranted..pour down GREAT MERCY. May SALVATION and RIGHTEOUS SERVICE be theirs for the asking and theirs for the doing. We LOVE YOU, we love them, we love our Country, let all the earth know that we are ONE NATION UNDER GOD..Hallelujah
