OH LORD, hear our Songs, accept our Praise, receive our Thanks, as we lift up Prayers for both our American Heroes and that of the Israeli Defense Forces. YOUR MERCY endures forever and YOUR LOVINGKINDNESS over our countries are our STRENGTH. Dear LORD, I thank YOU for the Military Chaplains that are placed in the barracks that they are to be a Witness of YOUR FAITHFULNESS, and TESTIMONY of SALVATION, a VOICE of ENCOURAGEMENT, and a LIFELINE to the ETERNAL, AMEN. I pray that their LOVE for YOU would bring songs of Hope into the hearts of these soldiers, Praises to YOUR HOLY NAME, Thanksgiving so that MERCY will comfort them…Amen.

Dear HEAVENLY FATHER…Raise up men and women of Issachar, who know their God, know the times, and know what Your people are to do (1 Chron 12:32). Give us men, women and children who seek Your mind and heart to pray Your prayers. Let us pray with You, not just to You, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done" prayers. Both are nations are left desolate to the attacks of the enemies of both our nations and our souls if we are barren of those who will pray in YOUR NAME…AMEN. Renew the SPIRIT within out countries to HONOR OUR GOD, LOVE OUR FAMILIES, FIGHT FOR OUR NATIONS, in TRUTH, RIGHTEOUSNESS, and GOSPEL FAITH, for YOUR NAME SAKE and our GOOD…AMEN. I pray, Dear LORD, for the sufferings of both countries, especially the families of those who lose their lives for the cause of FREEDOM, and for the innocent bystanders who become victims of hate and sin. OH LORD, may we all learn to come to our knees in TRUE HUMILITY before YOU…so very AMEN.

Cape Tribulation

April 16, 2013

On June 10, 1770, British navigator James Cook’s ship hit a reef off the northeast coast of Australia. He sailed the ship out into deeper water only to hit the reef again, and this time the collision almost sank the ship. This experience moved Cook to write in the ship’s log: “The north point [was named] Cape Tribulation because here began all our troubles.”

Many of us have experienced a trial that has seemed to trigger a string of other trials. The loss of a job, the death of a loved one, an unwanted divorce, or a decline in health could all be part of the list.

Even though a crisis may seem to be our “Cape Tribulation,” God is still sovereign and He most certainly is in control. It is His purpose to use tribulation to build resilience into us. James writes: “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience” (James 1:2-3). The word translated “patience” means to have staying power or the ability to endure.

In the midst of your life-changing trial, remember that God is still at work. He wants to use your “Cape Tribulation” experience to build your character. He has promised His grace to see you through (2 Cor. 12:9).

He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater,
He sendeth more strength when the labors increase;
To added affliction He addeth His mercy,
To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace.
Faith grows best in the winter of trial. —Rutherford

Amen

Praying for all those who are victim of terrorists.

May God’s mercy frustrate the workers of darkness and deliver us from evil. May God’s comfort be will those who grieve.

Protect all those who go in harm’s way, in the military and first responders, in America and Israel. May God turn acts of evil to good as we look up the One who is the only Savior in this world - both for the Jewish people as well as the Gentiles.

Amen
