This is the most important item on our agenda as humans. Our entire reality hangs in the balance of what we believe.

For you lurkers and curious...aren't you somewhat nervous about your future? Are you so sure of your eternity that you are willing to risk it all?

Wouldn't you like to ask others what they trust about this strange concept of God.

Come-on guys...ask.

Eternity hangs in the balance. We will not eat your brains for asking a simple question.

Ask...you can trust us. We will not eat your brains or try to brainwash you...promise.

In the end, you must decide for yourself. No one else can do that for you (hence, no brainwashing will work).

Ah, you’re flat wrong.

God does heal some and not others, for whatever reasons he has.

Healing is NOT for the benefit of men, it’s for the glory of God, and the spread of the Gospel.

So is the persecution of the saints. Recall: The apostles almost all died for their faith. The ones that didn’t died of health/old age.

Our REAL healing is our spirit, and it starts the moment we believe.

This flesh is corrupt, and will not be purified until we receive our new bodies.

The pre-occupation the health/wealth teachers shows you what their real god is — the flesh.

God did not intend for us to be sick a single day, in fact he made us immortal. But because of SIN, death entered the world, and the whole world is groaning under the curse of it. Christians are forgiven, but we still must live in this world, and suffer, and take up our cross.

Now does that mean God will not (or cannot heal us)? ABSOLUTELY NOT!

What it means is that we should GET OVER our flesh. God is concerned with our eternal salvation and will provide us with a new, perfected body....now THATS HEALING!

As to Angels having/not having free will.

Man was created LOWER than the angels.

Hebrews 2:7

When you become VERY familiar with the scripture, any bad theology becomes evident immediately. There is no substitute for knowing the word.

Evil exists because Free Will exists.

If there is NO ability for created beings (angels/man) to do anything other than be a programmed robot, then evil would not exist because there is no evil in God.

However, How can a programmed robot love? It can’t because Love goes beyond reason, and what is logical.

What purpose was Man created for? To worship and enjoy the God!
Is this something he (man) won’t like? No!
If you have ever really loved anybody then you understand that there is no effort required to love someone (assuming of course who you are loving is a perfect person, which of course, God is!)

Scripture speaks of evil as " the mystery of iniquity" ... but no where does it explain the how or why of its existence. The closest God comes to explaining it is in Job 41 where, when Job questions Him,he answers with "Where were you when I laid the foundations of the Earth ...."

Scripture does declare, however, that God, in Christ, has dealt with evil totally and completely. That's good enough for me.

Where all disease comes from. It’s a combination of genetics and biology, beside, satan came from God and He new what was going to happen when He crated satan. Everything comes from God if you take it down to its origin.

>> “You believe that cancer comes from satan?” <<

.
Cancer comes from the evil in men’s hearts. It is the result of hatred, bitterness, envy, and unforgiveness.

Many oncologists are well aware of this fact, but would lose their medical license if they counseled patients in this area.

Paul’s thorn in the flesh was not sickness. The thorn was “the messenger of satan sent to buffet him”. He also said the thorn was sent because of the “abundance of revelation” given the Apostle.

A careful study of Scripture teaches clearly that the work of Christ on Calvary was complete indeed; and that He bore not only our sins, but our sickness also in His Body. All who sought healing from Jesus received. He never told anyone it was not His will. Never.

>> Evidently you forgot to inform God about your “health & wealth gospel”. I Cor. 11:30 lets it be known that those who mockingly party while remembering Jesus’ sacrifice may be weakened, made sick, or killed. <<

.
That is absolute nonsense!

Paul counseled that failure to recognize the healing gift in the breaking of Yeshua’s skin was a cause of disease and early death.

You have a very twisted imagination.

Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal.

Christian Science redux.

And it’s one way for healthy folks to despise the sick: It’s your fault you are sick, because you don’t have enough faith. NyahNyah Nyah...(sarcasm off).

He crated satan.

If satan was crated then we don’t have to worry about him anymore, right?

I've been down that road before. CS Lewis's two books, The Problem of Pain, and A Grief Observed, helped me work through them.
