It’s St. Sebastian’s Angels all over again. But much worse. In Rome! A gay hookup site specifically tailored for priests and seminarians in ROME! Good Heavens what is to become of us?:

It is not easy to talk about some things, but Pope Francis’ statement of a gay lobby in the Catholic Church draws waves. As the Catholic writer, Vittorio Messori made known, there is a page on the Internet called Venerabilis which is run by a fraternity of Homo-Sensitive Roman Catholic Priests.

Our Pope should have 24 hour 7 days a week fasting and prayers in the Vatican. Every hour on the hour by different individuals continually. This is so powerful it would change these sinning individuals on spot or drive them out of our Church.

Mark 9:

…27But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose. 28And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out? 29And he said to them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

Philippians 4 :

6 Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.< p> We also need to pray and fast a little.

“thus, we can’t question behavior, or someones bad language, or their dress, or their music, or their addictions.....”

Or, “Hey pal, what’s WITH all those freaky TATTOOS”???;)
(OTOH, some of those tattooed types look like they break legs for a living, so maybe it’s better to keep quiet;)

How in the hell can someoen swear an oath to God, and then turn right aroudn and violate one of them ost serious of sins- one which God Hismelf calls an ABOMINATION? There is no strogner word to describe the level of vioaltion than the word abomination- God destroyed entire cities because of their abominations- How is it that priests think they can get away with such a serious violation? How can they claim to be God’s spokesmen while at the same time REFUSING to listen to God themselves?

Maybe they saw ‘Mad Max, The Road Warrior’?

“Gayboy beserkers, to the left. The gate! Smegma crazies, to the gate!”

I, as a Catholic, am offended.

Isn't that redundant?

You wouldn’t be implying that ALL priests are homos, now would you?? Your post sure seems that way.

Nope...But I am implying there seems to be a lot of queers in positions of authority, ie. cardinals and bishops and maybe even a few modern popes...

While your pope politely mentions a queer agenda somewhere at the Vatican, he seems to be very careful of raising too big of a stink...He may know that it's a lot larger than he alone can handle...

We know God can handle it. We know the end of the story so to speak.

Is that a quote from Peter Damian?

The whole deal is the natural progression of putting the priests in an unnatural situation. Even though Paul opined that celibacy was desirable, he made it clear that it was his own opinion and not part of the divine message being fed to him by the Holy Spirit.

Vlad, I don’t know what to think about how much of this is true... If any. If any is true, I hope it doesn’t pass away before it is rooted out and destroyed. If it is not destroyed by the pope, it is a continuing black mark.

I don’t know how much of it is true either. What I do know is that the Church will go on no matter what. Satan can’t destroy it.

I assume you're familiar with Damian's Book of Gomorrah?

The immorality of many of the Roman clergy and the tolerance of it...is it any different from what Martin Luther saw?

I can only imagine what an albatross these clergymen are around the neck of the collective Catholic church and thus makes me wonder why the laity are not marching with torches and pitch forks so to speak.

No, these are "gay" "Christian" clergy who have read the Holy Bible carefully, went through it with an exacto-knife and cut out the parts they didn't think made the grade.

Thomas Jefferson did that once, as I remember. For different reasons, of course.

Read "The Homosexual Network," by Fr. Enrique Rueda. Originally published in 1986. Things have, if anything, gotten worse since then.

I must disagree, because as far as my reading has permitted making any conclusions, the problem is not priests becoming homosexual, but homosexuals becoming priests.

And why would a homosexual become a priest? For the same reason he would become a summer camp activities director, a wrestling coach, a youth minister, a Boy Scout leader, a juvenile drug counselor, a sports league coordinator: because he's attracted to boys, and that's where he can find them.

Like the old story about Willie Sutton:

Reporter: "Willie, why do you rob banks?"

Sutton: "Because that's where the money is."

This article from Free Dominion (Canadian ally of Free Republic) gives a research-based perspective (Link) that should interest you.
