Pray for our American Heroes and Nation

Father, You have cleansed us by the blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ, made us righteous in Your sight, given us Your armor and free access to Your throne. Therefore, we come boldly to You this day.

We keep our Freedom Fighters always in our hearts. By Your grace, protect them, comfort them, guide them and lead them in Your triumph. We thank You for each one who has set aside his own agenda and plans for our greater good. We pray for a blessing for each one and his family awaiting his return. Cover them with Your wings. Show them how to be victorious. Keep them in Your peace. Sanctify them spirit, soul and body.

Send them Chaplains called by Your name to minister Your knowledge and grace to them. Truly let them be, like Paul, given grace “to preach the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places,1 according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Eph 3:8-11). Thank you for Word-bearers such as this.

We bless You today and affectionately praise You for Who You are. Thank You for showing our military and our Country Your mercy. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

O Lord, Please Guide Our Nation

A Prayer of Moses the man of God. “Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.” (Psalm 90:1).

Dear LORD, this America echoes the voice of Your people for YOUR FAITHFULNESS has covered us from generation to generation as it does this day. OH LORD, many a praying soldier has knelt before YOU with these very words of comfort spoken in FAITH TO YOU and in CONFIRMATION to themselves: “Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever” (Psa 73:25-26). OH LORD, I pray along with Dear Hiskid asking that YOU continue to support our soldiers with faithful men who Preach the Word, Speak the Truth, Edify the Heart, Protect the Soul, with the Ministry given them as servants of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, whom we are both heirs and sons according to YOUR GOOD PLEASURE and the WORKING OF YOUR MOST HOLY SPIRIT…ONE GOD FOREVER and EVER..AMEN.

IN THE COLDEST and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting Glory, and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation.

FROM THE BRAVE, albeit weary, ill-equipped, and untrained volunteers who straggled into Valley Forge on 19 December 1777 arose, with the help of some gallant friends from across the waves, the cohesive fighting force that became the United States Army, global defender of Freedom and scourge of Tyrants.

AS GENERAL WASHINGTON lifted his prayers on high in that bleak Winter, let our prayers now rise like a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and envelop them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

HEAVENLY FATHER, Lord of the Nations, unto Your Divine Mercy we commend the souls of these valiant men and women who have fallen in the service of our Beloved Nation and in defense of the Freedoms we hold dear.
