Dear FRiends on the Religion Forum. Having discussed, debated, shared, and kidded with many of you for years, I now ask you to join with me in praying for my grandson, Eli.
Eli is 3 and has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuro Blastoma, a cancer unique to little ones. While his parents have been told the success rate is 4 out of 10, we, as believers in Christ, wish to be faithful and trust Jesus who says, "Let the little ones come unto me."
We earnestly ask you to join us in prayer, and bring him before our Lord Jesus, as he goes through these many stages of chemo, radiation, surgery, ... and (faith)...recovery.

My prayers are with you. I can imagine the temptation to panic and be fearful of what is happening to your precious grandson. It is easy to tell someone to be strong, but it is very difficult to be strong. I know, however, that God will give you the strength to get through this trial and that God will be glorified.
All we can do is to lift him up in prayer and know that God is in control. I pray for a healing and that God will give you and your family the peace that surpasses all understanding.

People: And upon us weak and sinful, His mercy and compassion be showered in both worlds forever.
Almighty God, and merciful Father, to whom alone belong the issues of life and death: Look down from heaven, we humbly beseech thee, with the eyes of mercy upon this child, your young servant Eli now lying upon the bed of sickness: Visit him, 0 Lord, with thy salvation; deliver him in thy good appointed time from his bodily pain, and save his soul for thy mercies’ sake: That, if it shall be thy pleasure to prolong his days here on earth, he may live to thee, and be an instrument of thy glory, by serving thee faithfully, and doing good in his generation; or else receive him into those heavenly habitations, where the souls of them that sleep in the Lord Jesus enjoy perpetual rest and felicity. Grant this, 0 Lord, for thy mercies’ sake, in the same thy Son our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with Thee and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end.
We entreat Holy Virgin Mary, Mother of God and all saints to pray for Eli our little brother. We will together raise up glory and thanksgiving to You, Your Father and Your Holy Spirit, now and for ever. Amen.
