No knots here. The statement is quite straightforward and did not have to be explained to the disciples afterward. Are you a literalist? Is the Bible Literally True? or is it all metaphor and moral fables to be reinterpreted as convenient to suit the times and particular preachers?

“Are you a Literalist?”

Yes! (Except for figurative prophecy)

“And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. I tell you I will not drink again of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”
(Mat 26:27-29)

The real question is, do you believe Jesus when He called the cup, which you say was transubstantiated into blood, the “fruit of the vine,” which He declares He will not drink again until He reunites with the Apostles in heaven? The wine would have ceased to exist once the prayer was uttered, and would be considered really and truly the body and blood of Christ. Furthermore, you would have us believe that Christ ate and drank His own body and blood. Why would He do that? Is Christ in need to cannibalize Himself? And where is it written in the scripture that it is lawful at all to eat and drink another individual’s flesh and blood?

I believe that Jesus spoke figuratively at the last supper. The bread and wine are a “remembrance” not a “replay”.

It is impossible for me to believe any man, certainly no mortal, regardless of how many hands have been laid upon his head since Peter, has the power to turn bread and wine into the literal Body and Blood of Jesus The Christ.

Dear Catholic brothers and Sisters, there is no cause to argue this point. Christ reveals Himself in many different ways. How we worship, and why we believe is not as important as the actual worshiping and believing.

Christ commands that Christians love one another as we love Him.

He will sort it all out and judge.

Hope to see you in Heaven, if this sinful soul ever arrives.

My kindest regards and affection to you all.

The remembrance to which Yeshua refered has been spoken and practiced since the MelekZedek blessed Abraham.

Yeshua didn’t come to invent a new super-pagan religion; he came to validate the faith he gave to Abraham.

So, yes, the word of Yehova is literally true in every way. That requires his remembrance to be spirit.

Oh. Jesus lied, then. Sorry. It is not something I would have thought. Or was His Truth like Algore's truth?

There is little about a Roman mass that isn’t blasphemous. Scripture promises that one day Mystery Babylon will fall.

“Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.’ And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.’ “

Are you aware that almost the entire Mass is made up of Scripture?

**It is impossible for me to believe any man**

Did you forget that Jesus Christ is true man and true God?

Fully man and fully God?

“Also well known is the Catholic teaching that no one can be saved outside the Catholic Church. Eternal salvation cannot be obtained by those who oppose the authority and statements of the same Church and are stubbornly separated from the unity of the Church and also from the successor of Peter, the Roman Pontiff, to whom ‘the custody of the vineyard has been committed by the Savior.’(Ecumenical Council of Chalcedon in its letter to Pope Leo.) The words of Christ are clear enough: ‘If he refuses to listen even to the Church, let him be to you a Gentile and a tax collector;’(Mt 15.17.) ‘He who hears you hears me, and he who rejects you, rejects me, and he who rejects me, rejects him who sent me;’(Lk 10.16.) ‘He who does not believe will be condemned;’(Mk 16.16.) ‘He who does not believe is already condemned;’(Jn 3.18.) ‘He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters.’(Lk 11.23.) The Apostle Paul says that such persons are ‘perverted and self-condemned;’(Ti 3.11.) the Prince of the Apostles calls them ‘false teachers . . . who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master. . . bringing upon themselves swift destruction.’(2 Pt 2.1.)” Pope Pius IX

Credo in Deum Patrem omnipotentem;
Creatorem caeli et terrae.

Et in Jesum Christum,
Filium eius unicum, Dominum nostrum;
qui conceptus est
de Spiritu Sancto,
natus ex Maria virgine;
passus sub Pontio Pilato,
crucifixus, mortuus, et sepultus;
descendit ad inferos;
tertia die resurrexit a mortuis;
ascendit ad caelos;
sedet ad dexteram Dei Patris omnipotentis;
inde venturus est
iudicare vivos et mortuos.

Credo in Spiritum Sanctum;
sanctam ecclesiam catholicam;
sanctorum communionem;
remissionem peccatorum;
carnis resurrectionem;
vitam aeternam. Amen.

In English:

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ,
his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived
by the power of the Holy Spirit,
and born of the Virgin Mary,
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
He descended into hell.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
he will come again
to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy Catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen

I’m still waiting for you to explain the grounds of your claimed “salvation.” On what basis do you believe you are saved?

Ping Bergoglio for all I care, just ask him to watch the videos! You folks question our expertise when we attempt to show you your errors from Scripture, so let’s let a former Irish priest of 22 years speak on the mass. He knows of what he speaks.
