Please instruct the Catholic bashers to do the same.

“As it’s been pointed out before, this prayer, like so many others, calls on Mary, the Saints, the angels, and in this case St. Michael the Archangel to intercede to God on our behalf.”

“Wishing that away doesn’t change what the prayer does. “

.............

That is the issue. What the prayer says is evident. What is not evident - in fact totally absent - is your second point... “what the prayer does.”

To our knowledge as humans, it doesn’t do a single thing, other than distract from “boldly going before the throne of grace.”

It places the attention on Mary, Saints and Angels, instead of Christ.
It does this with no Biblical support.
It does it with no Apostolic support.
It does this with no historical support during the first hundred years of Christianity.
It does this with no secular support - written or in art form.
It is a total argument from pagan custom that entered the Church much, much later.

And worst, it does this by taking away from where any true believer should direct his prayers. To the Father.

I think the disagreement and discussion here is about your second point only.

Still pushing those books with errors in them ey? Using books with known error and trying to pass them off as God’s infallible word doesn’t impress anyone who knows the one true God who makes no errors. Anyone who uses books with known errors in them can’t be trusted when dealing with ones eternity.

>>You need to have a guidepath to determine whether what is being revealed is actually the truth or simply some solipsistic fantasy that you want to be true.<<

And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever--the Spirit of Truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you. John 14:16,17

Acts 15:8 And God, who knows the heart, bore witness by granting them the holy Spirit just as he did us. 9 He made no distinction between us and them, for by faith he purified their hearts.

Now you claimed that she had “no idea” and here is perhaps why you didn’t recognize it.

"The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Cor 2:14

>>Furthermore, why isn't every protestant denomination protesting the same things?<<

Because most all of them retain many of the errors of their mother church.

>>But at least admit your version of the truth has NO lineage back to Jesus Christ nor his followers.<<

Didn’t you recognize the scriptures posted? They are the original words of God. Not some watered down version having been sifted through man’s wisdom over centuries. If you didn’t know scripture is the original “back to Jesus Christ” source having been inspired by the Holy Spirit.

This speaks to the fear aspect as well, Iscool.

Recognize the Psychological Dependence on the RCC

Challenge a RC on his personal responsibility for the truthfulness of what he puts his faith in, you might get this response: “That’s the Church’s responsibility. If the priest taught me wrong, he’ll go to hell, not me.” From the sacrament of baptism at birth to the sacrament of last rites at death, the RC is dependent upon the priest.

This may be why so many RCs don’t believe many of the doctrines of the RCC, yet are unwilling to look elsewhere for spiritual answers—there is a psychological bondage to the system. They might reason thus: “If this huge world-wide Church of one billion with the Pope and centuries of tradition and teaching cannot solve my spiritual problems, then there is no solution anywhere else.” This thinking produces fear and increases their dependence on the system.

Did you read the last paragraph of the prayer?

Let us pray. O God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we call upon Thy holy Name, and as supplicants, we implore Thy clemency, that by the intercession of Mary, ever Virgin Immaculate and our Mother, and of the glorious St. Michael the Archangel, Thou wouldst deign to help us against Satan and all the other unclean spirits who wander about the world for the injury of the human race and the ruin of souls. Amen.”

I also recommend you read about the Battle of Lepanto and how the Rosary affected it's outcome.

I recommend y’all read Luke 1:28-44. Both an angel and Elizabeth salute Mary; why can’t we?

If you see her, say hi! Until then, you are pretending she can hear you... and why? Apparently people think their access to Christ is insufficient and she has more clout. She does not. She was a sinful human being in need of a Savior.

Uhhh. because she's dead? What does the Torah say about praying to dead folks?

What, you think YHWH ain't gonna listen to you? Are you scared of Him or something?

“Uhhh. because she’s dead? What does the Torah say about praying to dead folks?”

Doesn’t command anyone to pray to the departed.

“What, you think YHWH ain’t gonna listen to you? Are you scared of Him or something?”

The opposite. We are commanded to pray to Him and approach His throne I with boldness.

If the priest taught me wrong, he’ll go to hell, not me.

They must have learned that from the priests...The bible certainly doesn't teach anything like that...

You hit the nail on the head.
