Those completing “RICO” usually end up in jail for 20 years.

Joke = FAIL.

No question about it...you put the “Reformed” in the “Catholic” and give a whole new meaning to “TULIP”:

TOTALLY “Trent”
UNCONDITIONAL Fish Fridays
LENTEN Abstainer
IRRESISTIBLY Liturgical
PAPAL “Bull”

FWIW, Gamey, the Catholics are now and have been for generations better on the issue of LIFE than any evangelical, reformed, or protestant.

Likewise, they are now and have forever been better on male leadership and female giftedness.

So, the bottom line for me is this: except for the assumption and the immaculate conception, Catholicism is OK with me.

Orthodoxy is OK+

I will remain, though, unfettered, because they allow freedom....sometimes too much freedom I might add.

Also, unfettered is better able to respond to true unity if it ever breaks out someplace.

Dear Brother in Christ xzins. You are, and always have been, an honest "light", serving to inspire true Christian unity as Christ Himself desires us to do ....

Jesus prayed that we'd be one .... so for the sake of God's Own Son ....

“Orthodoxy is OK+

I will remain, though, unfettered, because they allow freedom....sometimes too much freedom I might add.”

:)

You’ll all be just fine. Pray unceasingly!

“You, oh Christ, are the Kingdom of Heaven;
You, the land promised to the gentle;
You the grazing lands of paradise;
You, the hall of the celestial banquet;
You, the ineffable marriage chamber;
You the table set for all,
You the bread of life;
You, the unheard of drink;
You, both the urn for the water
and the life-giving water;
You, moreover, the inextinguishable lamp
for each one of the saints;
You, the garment and the crown
and the one who distributes crowns;
You, the joy and the rest;
You, the delight and glory;
You the gaiety;
You, the mirth;
and Your grace, grace of the Spirit of all sanctity,
will shine like the sun in all the saints;
and You, inaccessible sun,
will shine in their midst
and all will shine brightly,
to the degree of their faith,
their asceticism,
their hope
and their love,
their purification
and their illumination
by Your Spirit.” +Symeon the New Theologian

sEE? At the end there you seemed to "get it" that RICO was part of the joke. The best part.

It's good to laugh sometimes. [did I just confuse you? that look you're wearing -- it goes well with those tiny scraps of eggs left over from breakfast, hehhehheh...]

the inter-Christian FR wars are over. There are skirmishes, but the wars are over. Time to focus on the bigger enemies: socialism/anti-religious “progressivism” and Islam

For any one of us to convert to another religion that believes in a loving Triune God with Jesus Christ as Lord God and Savior, both man and God, that is not shocking

What would be shocking would be if you posted this as a picture of you :)

I, Gamecock became a revert

Remember -- Islam is the larger enemy. Christians fighting and ignoring Islam led to Islam triumphing over the Christian heartlands of Egypt, Syria, Jerusalem, Iraq in the 7th century. Christian fighting led to the decay of Constantinople and Christian fighting even in 1683 almost led to the collapse of Vienna

Let's learn from history -- the internecine arguments are fine as long as we don't forget the bigger enemy
