Why do you believe the Roman Catholic traditions that deny and defy the Word of God? Crying/weeping is not repentance, it is only a sign of conviction. For reference, see court TV where there are lots of criers!

I don`t know what T.V has to do with it but the reason I said why do you believe Paul, the liar, is so the one who said Peter the liar could see how it looked on the other side of the coin.

I also do not believe a lot of the catholic doctrine, praying to Mary and several other things.

The problem I have with many Protestant Churches is that they base all most every thing on Pauls writings, and while I believe Paul was a believer I am not sure he was an apostle, too many contradictions.

** praying to Mary **

How many times must we tell you that we do not pray “TO” Mary.

Instead, we ask her to pray for us.

Catholics think of Paul as the Apostle to the Gentiles.

There are really only two places in your Nicean creed where a Biblicist would disagree without major clarification.

I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.

A biblicist cannot assign Rome as the location of that church.

I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins

A biblicist cannot affirm spirit baptism is the result of water baptism.

I had not heard that before, but was she resurrected? if not she would be waiting just like every one else who was not resurrected with Christ, she would be sleeping.>>>

Paul said he was, but Peter plainly said he was and he said it in front of Paul and Barnabas and all of the Church leaders, he got no argument.

“Vlad; you are a SINNER! yet your sins are forgiven as well”

Yes, but no one will be referring to me as a sinner in the year 4014 as if it were still 2014. Get it now?

The problem I have with your premise is that it defies logic, and also Scripture.

Paul is the most prolific writer of the New Testament for a reason. He was chosen by God to be an apostle, and he was inspired by the Holy Spirit to communicate to various groups of believers around the known world. His testimony of conversion reveals that he was already a follower of god, and due to the Damascus road experience, where God apprehended him, he became a valuable ally to the young church.

TV shows people crying when convicted, not repenting. Read the post and try to comprehend what I said.

Titus 1: 1 Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ to further the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness— 2 in the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time, 3 and which now at his appointed season he has brought to light through the preaching entrusted to me by the command of God our Savior, ...

I am saved by the precious blood which Jesus shed from the cross and from my baptism which also forgives me of my sins. So YES I am a born again Christian Roman Catholic.

I am happy to hear you are a born again Christian...But as I pointed out with scripture, baptism doesn't clean you up...It can't take away your past sins...Being born again, born from above takes care of the past sins, and future ones as well...

Paul claimed he was an apostle and Peter claimed what Paul wrote was God breathed scripture...If Paul wasn't an apostle, Peter then doesn't have any credibility either...

Too many contradictions with Paul??? I'm glad to see someone claim there are contradictions...When I started out I saw contradictions as well...But I knew the scriptures couldn't contradict themselves so the error had to be on my end somehow...And it was...

How many times must we tell you that we do not pray “TO” Mary.

As many times as we PROVE that THAT claim is not true...So why do you continue to claim that when every time you do you are proven wrong???

Rightly divide the Word, FRiend.

And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and WHEN THOU ART CONVERTED, strengthen thy brethern”. Luke 22:31,32

The Lord pointed out that Peter had faith, BUT was not yet converted.
When was Peter converted?......Pentecost, when he was filled with the Holy Ghost.

Yes, Peter still struggled with the old laws, but he was a new man regardless, and CERTAINLY no coward. Instead of pulling out a sword, he put forth the Word, in the midst of some very vicious people. Remember, Herod had killed James, the brother of John, and was preparing the same fate for Peter, when the Lord loosed him from prison again.

In testifying of the gift of the Holy Ghost being poured out upon the household of Cornelius, Peter called the Holy Ghost infilling the ‘beginning’:

“And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us AT THE BEGINNING”. Acts 11:15

Not the sight of the Lord walking on water,
not the raising of Lazarus from the dead,
not even the sight of the resurrected Christ walking through a wall to sit down and have a bite to eat with the disciples.
None of those, or many of the other miracles, did Peter refer to as his ‘beginning’.

The Holy Ghost infilling is a supernatural experience; not just a ‘feeling’, or a particular emotion. It powerfully converted Peter.

Would the Israelites mourned for thirty days if there had not been a grave?

Only if the chicken refused to cross the road.

ELSIE posts Scripture a LOT on FR.

I rely on Christ for my Salvation, not church membership, not my own works, not my theological precepts.

I rely on what the Book says that Christ said for my Salvation, not church tradition or membership, not my own works, not my theological precepts.

No, only those that do so with evil intent.

Does the device required to detect intent require 120 volts AC; or can a battery operated model be purchased?

Oh; about as many times as HISTORICAL examples from Catholic sources that show, in fact, that Mary IS prayed to.

“Keep it up, Vlad, and you’ll be omitted from those invited this summer to eat things from my barbie!”

I can live with that.
