Heavenly Father –

As the world is in chaos and evil seems to triumph, let us remember to put our confidence in the Man that turned water in wine.

May we never forget the cost of freedom – the blood of our patriots. As we celebrate communion, may we remember in the wine the cost of Your Son, whose blood covers all our sins. With the power of the Holy Spirit, may we bear fruit in the drought and the heat of persecution.

Keep all those who serve and battle the enemy of our souls – whether in flesh and blood or spiritual. Shield our defenders from our foes. And bless our people with Your grace and infinite mercy.
