Your throne, O God, is forever and ever (to the ages of the ages), and the scepter of Your kingdom is a scepter of absolute righteousness (of justice and straightforwardness). You have loved righteousness [You have delighted in integrity, virtue, and uprightness in purpose, thought, and action] and You have hated lawlessness (injustice and iniquity). (Hebrews 1:8,9) Knowing this, we ask You today for Your Kingdom to come on earth as it is in Heaven in our Nation both within our borders and as it is represented by our citizens who represent us around the globe. Change us one by one by Your grace so that You can delight in integrity, virtue and uprightness and remove from us injustice and iniquity. This is our hearts desire as we know it is Yours as well. Show us Your mercy and undeserved favor, Sir. Grant us righteous leaders, we pray.
Protect our beloved military men and women wherever they serve. May they know beyond a shadow of a doubt how great is Your love for them and their families. Anoint them to perform their responsibilities in excellence and with Your shield of blessing covering them. We say, The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. Amen.
Let us agree together today that Jesus is Lord over the United States of America and that He is faithful, loves us and hears and answers our prayers.
